thanks for the info on the "gap" issue...I have not drawn 1 channel that i trust yet. I will be back at 2:45am est...and hopefully we can have an accurate channel then.

Why haven't you widened the top of your channel in post 1755 to include the last 3-4 candles in November? I am not sure why you chose to place the top of your channel where you did?

Check out my attached chart. Looking at the weekly channel, Dec was a retracement and on the move up to Q1. My take is uptrend. (Yoda's sabre is point up too )

What is a channel Dave? A channel are 3 parallel lines where the distance of the botom channel to the median and the distance of the top channel to the median is equal.

I got the median derived from the 6th candle. When I widen the top channel, the lower channel has to be widen as well. But the bottom channel (trendline) need to touch a candle somewhere. WHERE?

No Dec candles touched the bottom channel, therefore a January 07 candle will touch?

Hi Master Roshan,

Here is my analysis of the current GBP daily chart. Price is at the median (red line) of the long term up channel (blue). Price is in Q1 of the Dec (aqua) down channel. If we get a candle that forms below the median (red line) then a short trade could be placed as it would be confirmed by the Dec down channel (aqua). Well that's my analysis of the daily chart going into 2007.

It's around the top of the monthly channel from Desember. It has failed establish outside so far. Dropped back in, but not establishing there either. Just wait and trade either a break out or a drop back inn with the same rules you trade suport and resistance in the SRDC1+ Thats what I will do at least.

Hello Guys,

Hope u all managed to catch some pips today. At least 90 pips already.

Currently..the price seem to stuck at the 1hr median. I shall close 1/2 a lot. and let 1/2 alive. (i'm in selling position)

But, I have a question....if I want to move my SL, what is the best shall be. Is it at the Q1 or closed previous bar...

May be someone can share with me...

I was wondering if anyone can help me with SHI lines on H1 and CCI are you guys using 14, 100,-100 and? I have been following the thread some times , still can't figure out..........that's why in medicine they say "we all have situational mutesm" to some extent or maybe I am stupid.........lol

Currently I'm slightly bullish on gbpusd ... I'm gonna wait for more signs. Today's candle opened with a gap from yesterday's candle close and my trendline on daily chart is still bullish.

one question ... how many units is 1 lot in Northfinance ?

I really have to thank you for showing me/us on how to trade using channel trading. I've tried a lot of method or even bought a software...but this one fits me the best.

I know.. I still have a lot to learn for a better consitetncy result. But Just to share with you what I have got for today.(attached)
