DislikedLeading US economical indicator will be determinded the day after thanksgiving by judging the crowds (or lack of) of women gathered in front the stores two hours before they open so they can fight, claw and bite their way to 70% off shopping. If the parking lots are full, then the economy must be doing good, if they are empty FEAR AND PANIC WILL GRIP THE MARKETS, OH NO!!!!!

DislikedThanksgiving night, last year, starting at 16:00 E.T. GBPUSD took off like a bat out of hell and the move lasted through the end of the year. I have looked back in my trading diary and remember it clearly.
Markets can be moved more violently and more easily during these times, because there is far less liquidity, because there are less players.Ignored
DislikedI don't remember any major upset during thanksgiving week the last few years, but keep in mind this is a global market. It isn't the NYSE. Thanksgiving is a US only holiday, the actual US session may be slow on Thursday but I wouldn't alter your trading too much unless you simply need more time with family. Thats always worth it.
If anything watch out for a terrible Black Friday in the US economy or some other upset relating to the day after Thanksgiving.Ignored
