Is GBP/JPY heading to 200 in the coming weeks, nice head and shoulders on the weekly.. I wonder.. Any thoughts?

With the way the USD is (crappy?)...with thanksgiving weekend coming up (people closing positions?)...with the weekly head and shoulders showing, and the overall downtrend...it really looks like gbp/jpy is gonna drop like a rock? Holy crap. Could this be one of those absolutely gigantic you don't wanna miss it trade? To take a high risk for a high gain or not...hmmm...

I dont know what will happen, but I have been amongst the group of short thinkers as well. I see this possibly setting new lows by end of november, mostly because of the weakness of the US financial districts. No positive news will be forthcoming in the next 2 weeks, but as I have said before. As soon as I have figures out what the market will do, it does exactly the opposite.

it could drop massively.. we will have to wait and see.

I have 224.50 as support on my chart, once that is broken.. look out below for new low's

Could you please clear this for me, Do you expect EU/USD both 1H and 4H , getting ready for a break out ?As the price now limited to a very narrow range, if it happens maybe give the clue to market direction? hi peter. thanx for pointing that out. that does look like a textbook head and shoulders. the price right now seems to be at the valley of both the left shoulder and the head. so its kinda triple bottom too, hence tough resistance. i guess it have to break/close below 240? then maybe we cud see 220?

d'oh. Shorted at 225 ;/ Got stopped out already...lol, dang it....just lost 1% of my account >_< no big deal. Just wait to re-enter when it hits 224.50 so I know it's going in right direction...Hmm. I hope I"m not getting tunnel vision trying to catch this big fish and missing something huge.

Hi Steven,

In the top right hand corner of this page you will see a little box with a number in it and a paper clip. Click on it then scroll down untill you find the link to the indicator your looking for.

The dow is testing below 13,000 again. If it breaks convincingly (and it looks like it might), we should see another big move in GJ.
One more down movement before a potential big bounce up I think. Dow to dip just under 12,800 and GJ to go just above 220 before a good long. So if they are at those levels together then I would add weight to a reversal.

I'd also be surprised if DOW fell too far below 11,000 anytime soon. You would need some serious panic selling. Strong support at 11,800, 11,400 and then 10,800.
