thanks Aus for getting back on this. I'm talking about the 4H - 1H strategy (could be not the official name of the strategy but I mean the one where you spot the opportunity using the QQE and Gann HILO on the 4H then locate the entry point on the 1HR TF.

my question is still, was the entry at 227.24 correct as per the strategy? Am I applying the strategy right?

If yes, the SL has been hit today (because according to the strategy TP:200 SL:100). I'm doing this on demo so no worries. Thnx.

I posted a couple of Weekly charts near the end of last week showing this neckline on the Weekly head and shoulders pattern. This neckline was drawn using a line chart as opposed to candles, but I am showing both charts with the line. 225.90 is the key support. Technically, because this pattern appears on a Weekly, we are looking for a Weekly close beneath it for confirmation of a break. However, there should be ample opportunities to scale in on lower TFs. We have already seen a couple of Daily closes beneath this line and a number of 4H closes beneath it as well. It has held up through two direct attacks already, which shows more clearly on the Daily and 4H charts. The next direct attack should break through. Consolidation, and possibly some more upward movement, might be necessary to bring some of the TFs out of OS status and also to pick up some more sellers to help it break through this barrier at 225.90.

GJ looks to be headed up toward 229.70 or as high as 230.xx. . . If you look at the hourlies we just made a higher from the last fall of 223.84. The down move looks to have run out of momentum for now which is indicative of an oversold condition for now. GJ looks to be mounting momentum to go a bit higher to gain downward momentum.

Momentumns on the 4hr are starting to point upward however daily is pointing down and weekly candle look bearish but weekly momentum indicators is pointing up.

This look like a good set-up to go up and gain momemtum for the fall below the neckline of the H&S formation.

Lets see how this all plays out. Good luck this week in your trading. And I would be very careful trading over the holidays due to illliquid market. GJ could make wide swings during that time.

M2B great analysis as always!
I've been studying your analysis, as well as Gene22, Aus and other senior memebers on this thread and find that your analysis seems to be right on target most often than not. I've also learned based on your studies that studying wekly and daily charts gives a broader picture as to where price is going and tend to use 4hr and hourlies for entry and exit positions.

The question I have for you is what target do you see for GJ before the move down. I see possibilities of 229.70's up to 233.XX based on the weekly chart. I would be interested in your take on this. . .

I'm not totally convinced it will 'go up' much. That's why I said it would either consolidate or move up in some combination to work out the OS status of the lower TFs. The 1H Stochastics, shown in this chart, is what I am especially looking at right now. It could move up and turn back down without price moving up much more at all. When price is ranging, Fibs and most MAs are not very applicable. Fibs and MAs are best used when trying to judge support and resistance areas involving trends, either long or short. But to just give a point for a basic potential top, I would look for the 228.20 area, which is the 50 Fib which price bounced off of before. If it moves above that, we would be looking at another short term trend change to the upside. But I don't see that happening based upon the Momentums of some of the larger TFs, even though some of them seem to be mixed.
