I'm not sure what to say other than I just watched the EJ move over 100 pips in the last hour or so and I only profited 11 pips.
I'm somewhat dissapointed in my self for not doing MUCH better than that.

Yes. We need to always improve but you did well I think!
I keep this funny picture as my wallpaper to remind me of
the old saying that your job is to catch the "Meat of the Move".
Later you'll get Fillet Mignon. A good hamburger will work too for now.
But, seriously 11 pips for an hours work is no chopped liver. LOL

Well that is better than I would have done a month ago, or even a week ago, for that matter.

When I first started trading I refered to it as my "gift", my ability to loose money almost every single trade, even in the best market conditions.

Even an ape randomly clicking the mouse could have done better back then.

Because fillings... Its would be better when u entered with stop and limit orders, but u only can do that when u use a priceladder or SuperDOM with oneclick placement... there u can place ur orders stops, targetprofits, target strategies, and u can always cancel all in one second...

I have practiced a little bit with Ninjatrader SuperDOM and this tool is so awesome, when u place it right to ur chart (nearest Position to price ) that is direct execution or intuitive order execution...

Oanda is slow and market orders at efx are bad, so when price gets action oanda chart everytime lagging, and price from efx is hopping around...

I meet tomorrow my programmer and hope he can make me this tool...

Also that we can use a spread as low as 1/10th we could programm the tool that the you can buy/sell at 1/5th pips for better entries

162.50
162.498
162.496
162.494
162.492
162.49

How looks that? But this have to open separatly maybe when u go over price lets say u hover the line between .50 and .49 then a little drpodown menu with the increments come...

Is Ninja DOM Price Ladder working now for live Forex? I thought
it's demo only. It would sure be nice. Placing orders like you
are talking about sounds great! I hope you'll keep us posted.

It's a real benefit of this very short TF method. If you decide for whatever
reason to give it a break, there's ALWAYS next hour, or session.
For myself, I take a break and watch some TV, go out on some errands etc.
after every trade - win or loss. It really helps me.

Just when you think it can't get any better around here, this thread
moves to another level! Well done, everyone. This has got to be giving
Father Troll a warm fuzzy feeling.

Thanks. I like the 180 better. I like the BB signal because I think the rainbow technique exploits the volatility and what better way to confirm it then through BB indicator. Thanks again.

Ycomp,
Your right about the 3-3:30pm EST being excellent for trading. I thought Linuxtroll meant 3am when I first read it.
Yesterday I made several 10 pip winning trades each one less than 2 minutes.

You know the more I trade and get better at it the more I understand, believe, and agree with EVERYTHING that was said in the first post.

It seems that Oanda slips my trades (6 / 10). Just bad-luck or is my i.net connection just slower...?

Really thinking moving to an ECN. How is EFX / MBT? Cannot compare the demo to real, it seems there is a price differents.
Ignored
Always good to trade through ECN with future in mind...

choppy US session.my entry was not so good (late).but before market open it was a strong uptrend.so most of the time it will be downtrend on this session.this trade just a bonus trade.you can always take some of your small profit(extra money) to train yourself.even your fail, but at least you still are being positive day and you will learned somethings.

Absolutely...

Has anyone heard much or have an update about the LT's proposed project involving a separate data feed and some sort of 10sec chart that helps rainbow scalpers enter a trade?

Already invented it last year... Must test it... Always trying to keep it simple and smart... ladder is part of it, but difficult to find good open source programmers who can integrate real-time feeds and who are familiar with FIX at the other end to execute the trades using ladder with multiple strategies (like button trader)...
