hilmy, if you were referring to me, I don't see where I said they were stealing twoblink's system. In fact, looking at the respective threads, twoblink was a full 2 years later! The only reason I mentioned his thread was because I believe there were more replies and input in that thread than this one.

You want a big tree? Look at post #40. Muddbuddha just made a great post. If the best traders are big trees, then Mudd is one of the biggest trees around!!!

Mudd doesn't post much, but when he does, it is always great stuff!

When you say +16 @ 3 LOTS on JPY, does that mean 16 PIPs per lot or a combined total of 16 PIPs on all three?

and i thought today would be a hard day - - - - - -

first off, install your moving averages into their own indicator panel together, and then add a 20 period bols.

when the bols narrows, step back from trading because you are now in a trendless market --- when the bols open, your trend is now forming.

an additional inclusion would be the accumulation/distribution line and the ema 8 - 12 (depending on the timeframe you wish to study). the ema will show trends very nicely !

now what youve done is an interesting start -- continue to pursue the direction youre moving in with your mind open to trending indicators also, and youll begin to have something decent !

oh yeah, when it becomes a trendless market, simply assemble your trend lines or LRC and read the top and bottom of the one and 5 minute charts candles --- then buy at support and sell and/or short at resistance --- I do both so pick up a couple pips every few mins !

as far as the ADX filter i used....

i am hesitant to say because i feel this simple filter is one of my most powerful. HOWEVER, today i am feeling a bit philanthropic (as i was a few weeks ago when i posted a similar system ) so here goes...

trading can make your life all you want it to be...no bastard boss telling you what to do...lots of $$$...time to spend with your family...time to hang out on the forum...time to spend doing the things you love, really love, to do.

id say thats worth dedicating a few thousand hours to, wouldnt you???

i assure you, this is all very possible (with all kinds of trading, especially forex). its all out there...there are no secrets...everything i learned i have from reading books. i havent come up with anything really innovative on my own. all i have done is follow the conventional wisdom illustrated in countless books on trading, and i have found some success just doing that.

basicly i look for a low ADX, then i look to see that the ADX starts rising. the details are up to you to figure out. if you put some time into this little piece of advice you will not believe that you found it on a forum

what is the advice at all? look to ADX? what is the tip?
