Attached is the psychological indicator for MT4. I've verified the formula on FxAccuCharts and it should be identical (the formula).

However, don't expect to see the exact same information on MT4 and FXAC. It seems the indicator is quite sensitive to different brokers and data history, so you will see some differences. This doesn't mean it is incorrect, just indicating for the data it has. For instance, my FXAC starts on Sunday at 1900 GMT, but my MT4 (Alpari) starts at 2300 GMT. So my FXAC will have 4 extra hourly bars on Sunday, let alone differences on Friday and differences in daily closing, etc.

So, what I'm saying is if Breeze says it has crossed 50 or something, don't get panicked if your's doesn't indicate exactly the same. Just trade your charts.

Also the level lines are in Silver color. If you are using the standard black background for MT4, it should be fine. If you use a light colored background, you might want to adjust the level colors to something else.

So what's the deal with this indicator? How is it suppose to work. Seems like a modified momentum indicator.

I'm not exactly sure on it's usage. Breeze can probably explain how he uses it. It has OB/OS levels at 75 and 25, but I hardly ever see those lines show up. Even FXAccuCharts doesn't have it in their help, even though it's a standard indicator in the package.

Whats your prognosis?

Based on MOM, RSI, QQE and Psych Im expecting a (slow) drop to around 225 at least and then a run up back to around present levels.

But then again im far from infallible....

I missed the direction now,personally i hope gbp/jpy today will bounce up to 233.5,but seems impossible.
Hows the psychological line indicating now?

Well... I was lookin forward to an upturn to previous levels but we just took out the lower trendline so at the moment I'm looking at 227.70.

I am short but it is balanced precariously at the moment...leaning slightly towards the bears IMO. I am ready to pull out if and when i see the wind change.

If not already in or confident id say its best to stay out until London

Well Fer, the way I see it is that not everone interacts with an indicator the same way and that includes all indicators. While one may do very well using divergences on macd histogram, another may swear by rsi instead. Does that mean that one of these indicators is better than another? I don't think so as I believe and am sure that we are all wired different. So I say take the indicator or indicators that you feel works for you and work it baby! At least that's what I've learned to do.

On geppy... the overall trend is down down down but we will enjoy a retracement now and then. Sometimes it's best to let the market show us which way we're headed and right now is one of them I believe. We'll just keep our eyes peeled for now.

Ok I am changing my original position and going for 230.45
Really could go either way but I think its headed up for the moment to he 61.8 at around 230.45 headed for 233.65 area. Of course 228.00 must hold.

Lets watch.
