I'm not quite ready to be naked. Still need the rainbow "security blanket"
for warmth. And "wheels" too. But, only for right now. LOL

I noticed people saying that Interactive Brokers have a low commission, on their website it says for forex costs:
"50,000 daily volume for EUR = USD 2.50"

If I am reading it right this translates to $.50 per $10,000 USD traded which is the same as EFX, am I missing something?

I really like having the fast quotes and level2s, I do not want to trade with Oanda's crappy price feed (though their interface is the best), but EFXgroup is so expensive and their software is buggy as hell!

Hey all,
I start off today feeling quite sad, It seems people only speak to you when they want something!

answer to qu 1+2 - No I did not use an EA to catch 400 pips yesterday, just the plane old cyrox rainbow as LT teaches it. Yesterday london-early NY was amazing trading as anyone who was trading knows.

answer to qu 3- I am using oanda still untill EFX new platform becomes available to me.

And also yes.... I dont seem to be able to see some peoples charts, im using IE. hmmm, strange!

Today is back to a normal rainbow day for me, the entries look so easy to find when you look back, but in real time...... not so simple for me.

Keep well

Leon

Btw, interested peoples looking for brokers should check the CFTC reports here http://www.cftc.gov/marketreports/fi...fcms/index.htm to aid in their decision, now I don't believe that the amount of capital a broker has makes them good or bad/trustworthy or untrustworthy, but it is something to consider...

Ok sorry for being off-topic!

Regarding IB, maby they have a smaller spread than EFX, or NONE!! lol, i wish, $1 roundtrip per trade inc spread would be heaven, but sadly....were on earth.

Keep surfing those waves

leon

PS. Ive had a look and it says there is a minimum commision of 2.50$ and this is a direct quote from the site....

'All 1 basis point(3) *Trade ValueUSD 2.50USD 10,000 for EUR = USD 2.50'

$2.50 is their minimum charge per order. When you have order sizes past 125k, it's only 0.2 pips per side.

That is good trading, yesterday was indeed an ideal day for the rainbow, me I did not do so good but I can see there were many ideal moves, just need more practice...

Today is pretty slow and rangebound, some aggressive trades only, nonetheless I am staying in the black so I am happy!

Ah... yes I can see that now, wasn't clear to me before. That is very cheap then compared to Efx. Thanks!

They also pay competitive interest on balances..

I agree, yesterdays range was 360 pips but today is not that bad. Range of 120 pips during todays London is still OK, better than range of 40 pips. Today is close to average day. Not extraordinary, not bad too.

BTW, 400 pips, wow.

wow itanlianfx! it help me a lot! many thanks. I don't know if is because a chart that i was seeing before but this was the most clear explanation in this thread for me.

the unique doubt that i still have is about the blue dot. so it was not so important, right? i was think that the most important think to look was a thick line formed with many WMAs... so it is important when is forming a new wave but when it is formed i don't need pay special atetion to it, right?

I am really grateful to you. thanks a lot.

and sorry for my english

Hey Leonlorenzo,
I think LT once talked about a system like that--possibly it was in a different forum. If I get this correct you put like 2k in an account and grow it another 2k, then put that into a linked account at less leverage, each time you make 2k in your main account you throw into another lower leverage account. Of course this works for bigger/smaller accounts. Grows your accounts exponentially while spreading risk thinner. And sure, you could use one of those smaller accounts for car, boat, etc. But I would encourage you to invest it rather than squander it. If you have extra from trading, why not put it into real estate or something else that gives you positive cashflow every month, then use that money to buy whatever you want. (Real estate is an extremely excellent market right now to buy in!!! Always better to buy in buyers market although I've bought in both.) Trade forex for investing capital--just my 2cents. pkchilly

Excellent suggestion! this is what I'm trying to do right now! I need to make money in forex and invest in something that give me positive cashflow every month , to live the rat race and go to the fast track! I'm playing Cashflow 202 e-game by Robert Kiyosaky

Hi!

It's my introduction to rainbow surfing, but I found it extremly usefull.
I was allways thinking about different MA as indicators of tren breaking or strength. This visualisation technique is really awesome.
