Anyway I think we will never find a honest ECN Broker,

agreed, i have seen someone complained Currenex Hotspotfx on other forums. Perhaps EBS Reuters are better, but only the banks have so many $ or €.
the world self isn't so perfect and fair. we should have to accept something that are parts of our business risks.

I will miss this forum but especially you guys... Those who participate in this wonderful thread... Keep helping each other and especially the new guys (those who want to learn). Thank you Linuxtroll for this wonderful method!!!
I will still be able to read and write on the weekends. So keep posting the charts and your useful insights!

Actually. ButtonTrader that LinuxTroll recommended for Interactive brokers looks really great (especially together with low commission from IB). I don't know how good is ButtonTrader/IB compared to Currenex platform but its interface is very convenient and intuitive and you need $5000 to open an account, which is a lot less than 25000.
And IB seem to have a really good reputation

I tried the demo of ButtonTrader and SuperDOM (part of NinjaTrader), but I found ButtonTrader too busy for me. I'm probably going to use NinjaTrader because of the other features as well, such as charting, programmable features, MM analysis, etc. Again, this is something that I find works better for me.

Right now, I'm scraping together ~$5,000 for an IB account. Eventually, I want to get into scalping FX from 7:00-9:00 EST and index futures from 9:00-11:00 EST. Should be more than enough time to find that 2 or 3% daily return that will turn into millions.

Hi

I have seen that some pics do not show up in Opera browser anymore for some reason. It have been like this the last couple of days.
Post 3436 by newpip is a example of that problem. The pic show in IE and Firefox but not in Opera so FF must have made some changes in the server script last or something days that made this problem because it have always work well in Opera before.
It is a shame because in my opinion Opera is the best browser.

Here is the post i was referring to but i have seen the same problem in other threads on the forum last days also:

hi lt, no I meant that even if you make your own client to communicate with EFX / MBTrading Servers, it is still talking to their servers of course. So I thought delay was because Navigator is waiting for response o from server. So I don't understand why making your own client to communicate with their servers would help.

I mean, wouldn't manipulation happen on the server end of things? that's why I'm confused.

Why Market Makers give their version of MT4 client to download? They can simply ask you to download the software from MetaQuotes and use with their feed... There are so many IT stuff going behind the scene... ex-Programmer Extraordinaire should do some research and explain it to the Rainbow Scalpers...

For example: To requote your order -more- (than the server does); It's called "branding" :.

That comes in handy. I try to avoid the market about ten minutes before a high impact announcement, and get back in when it settles down (usually 5-10 minutes afterwards). At that point, you get some nice trends in the 5 sec time frame, while those stuck with a 1 min chart see nothing but noise... lol
