a) This is Linuxtroll Simple Scalping thread.

b) Read again: "Linuxtroll Simple Scalping". In scalping mode you don't go for 200 pips targets.

c) All your questions have been answered many times on this thread.

It looks like their demo is only for Forex and I was interested in futures. I'll try IB then
No. Right click on the top of the "Market Watch" window and click on "show all".
The futures data is supposed to be high quality according to some people who trade for a living. Execution is pretty good for an MT4 broker. The forex spreads are good but stock and future costs are outrageous. Their manager even says its mainly good to just practice stocks and futures on their platform because of the high costs. Interactive Brokers is like 20% of the cost for futures!

My 1st 3 Rainbow scalps today. Suprised myself....... Might make a profitable trader out of me yet! 28pips!

I was just wondering how people here go about placing stops? I have 5pip SL in this condition and then trail to lock in profit.

Also, Ive herd oandas position on scalping is that they alow it. Has anyone herd anything off them?
Im trading live but only small lots ATM, so i doubt they would bother sending me death threats yet.

Read the thread, the e-book isn't as helpful as the thread. Even reading the entire thread shouldn't take you more than a half a day. Make sure you bring a notebook and write down posts you liked, had questions about or showed good trade setups.

I read the thread from begining till 100 when I 1st discovered it, and that was a nice long read........ 219 pages now!

Starting at around 2:40am PST, oanda's platform began to throw "communicating with server" messages for every trade I've placed. It will execute eventually, but those 5 seconds can cost you a lot of money.

This typically happens during times of high volatility, like right now :-p
