Wow... this is truly amazing! Are you running the EA on all recommended pairs then? Well, this surely was a day for many pips and I made some nice profit myself, but 1.500 pips!

Super start... do not be alarmed if it does not always show these results!! hehehe

Well someone or something doesn’t WANT ME to trade this triple swap thing – probably a sign that’s its REALLY GOOD .

Anyway, this was my 4th attempt (so I’ve been trying for a month) at this triple wednesday mania.

The first time I tried it manual (that was before the birth of SwapBot). I entered like a huge 5 mins before 17:00 and by 17:00 the price had fallen slightly (but on 10 standard lots that’s a BIG negative number over on the right side of the screen so I kinda froze there and “waited” for the price to climb back again at “breakeven swap” (took 1.5 hours, but of course this is a real BAD way to go about it).

Then wait a whole week.......

The second week, still without the bot I think, the trade was taken, swap was delivered and right after, instead of closing the trade, I clicked on sell (I’m used to brokers who don’t allow hedging, in which case sell = close). I was at work and did this real quickly, then got home only to find I had hedged my position . This eventually finished in a not too bad slight catastrophe.

Then wait a whole week.......

Last week, bot in hand, I was really ready. Then at 15 seconds before 17, yippie a trade is taken, except at 17 no swap. WTF ?!? Well yeah Europe went back to normal time, but not north America. So I sat for another hour with a trade going up, going down (and my stomach with it). I eventually closed it, since this is testing anyway and refired the bot 10 mins before show time. Then finally at 18:00, I’m on the edge of my seat and…….. nothing. I finally figure out that for some reason, I forgot to switch to “allow trading”. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Then wait a whole week.......

Well tonight I got off work earlier (but not as early as I wanted) arrived here 10 minutes before 17, double clicked on the platform and nothing happened. So I re-click like 3-4 times and the clock what ticking. So I thought, maybe resource systems low (other bots were fully running) so I close all the other platforms, all other applications (took many seconds, processes were slow) then I completely shut off computer, then count 30 seconds, then reboot (more seconds) then reclick on platform but……… nothing. By now it’s 16:58. So I think, I’ll simply take another instance of MT4, since that one's "brokern", and copy the bot, but the correct platform was in the background trying to load so everything was slowed down so much that 17:00 swooshed by me ONCE AGAIN. I think the platform with the ea is pretty “heavy” and needs some time to load, and I finally got it up on the screen (at 17:20).

So yeah, it’s a date for NEXT wednesday once again……………….

Gnat happy to see you still made a few pips (feathers) in this real bad (short) environment. It's a good sign for the bot.

Herb, what do you mean you "waited", isn't the bot supposed to TAKE YOU ABOUT if candle is bearish (in which case it was) or did you try doing what I did the first time (which is not a bright thing LOL I mean it's not a BOT thing, it's a human thing for which we NEED a bot)

If you remember, last week from monday to tuesday I made 1000 pips in less than 24 hours and this week I think I was up +800 yesterday, so yes this is REAL (that's the full autobots with 9 pairs)

However I still like my B&Bs which have "realized gains" ie in my pocket, currently averaging 132 pips per day (currently 1,714$ in da profit pocket with an initial capital of 2K baby) after 2 minuscule weeks (and using mini lots).

But as you point out GNmNAT, it *might not* always be that GOOD (but then again who knows )

Piptress, you must admit that this times WE were much better, as two out of three were actually doing "it". LOL
Not like last time, when we had pinguin-screens and time-warps and not being there happening in a mass-failure!

Yes I admit this weeks "results" are much better hehehe at least 2/3rds of the participants actually participated, but one was left with a few feathers and the other one was eaten up by greed :. Next week HAS to be better

With waited I meant that I did not select any of the ExitOnBearish settings and just let it wait for profit.

While sitting and waiting for it to receive swap I realized that the trade should NOT be opened with a TP.
If the market is bullish and it goes in our favorite FAST, it could even close (with TP profit) before swaptime.
So, I need to open the trade, I think, without the TP and as soon as swap is added, to set TP.

Are there any other things you or Gnat have noticed and would like to have added or changed? (Other than a new computer... )

I'm still new to trading so the full autobots is where I like it. Takes my fear/greedy mind out of the equation.

But yeah..I'm up over 1600 pips now - tempted to close out the trades, but I was tempted to do that 1000 pips ago too. So I'll let it ride!

Oh... I thought I answered that, but maybe only indirectly by confirming that way to someone else. You just have to keep track of the magic numbers and it is nearly impossible to tell robots and results apart from the statements. Only if they post their magic number there also (mouse over it and then it becomes visible) you would be able to do that.
I had the first 3 Glenns, the Supernova 1 + 1.1 all on the same account by that. You can just try it!

You mean it could actually do this in less than 15 seconds? Hmmm. Then you're right it has to go in the trade with no TP and as soon as swap is taken, the TP possibility is triggered if candle is bullish, if not hasta la vista baby.

Oh Herb ... like a dry Martini!! New Computer...

You are right on the TP business... on a bullish trend there is no real need for it and especially not in the few secondes before swap is donated. On the bearish side it worked out fine. I just found out it was faster than the managetp on this one! Very good!

Very good. Just try to manually set a stoploss and +1000 pips for the trade so far. You do not want to loose the nice stash of pips!! Very good start!

However, please take note (if you haven't read the whole thread ) that we're still in the testing phases, so let's not get TOO excited just yet (just a tiny bit tho )

Yeah I was thinking about that. I have absolutely no problem if Herb wants to "correct" the bot and (if I have the time LOL) I might (I will) do some sporadic tests. However, since this current system already works beyond my needs , I'll always keep a "copy" of the bot behind it anyways. Also, I looked at the code, well actually at Herb's email I should say, and in no way are the bots reacting like that, ie: enter trade if DMI is in such and such direction. My experience is that when filters are ON, the trades always materialize when ALL the indicators agree based on my settings for each pair, and the exits as well. So I don't really expect much change in a "corrected" version.
