Even though I think oil will drop sharply when it hits $100, I wouldn't short it for anything. With everyone thinking the same thing, it would be a risky call.

I'm short and will remain short for the rest of the week.

GU bearish pattern on the daily has completed, once that is triggered, expect dollar to gain some strength and GU should drag GJ down with it for a while, maybe 231?

Time will tell.

place a few sell orders to add to your positions on the way down at strategic points when it finally happens. 15 min eur/usd and gbp/usd showing flag formations and wide spread on the upcrossed Macd. Be careful with lot sizes until confirmation.

I am also short. The dollar action sent the Nikkei negative. I am sure the US stock market is going to be negative tomorrow, and I expect the european stock markets to be flat to negative.

I wouldn't expect GU to drop however, until after WTI oil hits $100, and probably until gold hits $850. That should be at about 10:31 eastern time tomorrow.

I never got out of my short trade from 239 area from yesterday, I've been sleeping for like 12 hours straight, woke up a while a go and things look kinda the same, let's see what london brings.

Nice, all the US$ needs is China and the middle east to start diversifying

Markam, I do believe that everything runs in cycles - right now, it's obviously $ bearish, gold +ve, etc.. eventually things will turn though. This is absolutely not the time to be going short gold or oil or e/u. Just go with the trend.
