Any idea what happened few hours ago today at 21:25EST? EUR/USD gained nearly 100pips!!! GBP/JPY just got crazy. Was it a late night NFP report? :surprised

Sure was a crazy ride, not if anyone saw it coming but it worked out good for me and a few others I trade with. Either way, there is likely worse coming in the near future for the dollar...

I always have trouble with what to do with this kind of comment. As you will notice it was a "Chinese Official" who made the comment.

And it was just that, an errant comment. For those of us not in the pits, this is a tough thing to catch. Impossible really.

Plus, you would have to think that common sense will prevail in the end. A retrace of the entire move wouldn't surprise me.
