I know what you mean, sometimes I'll draw it off the wicks and sometimes I use the Line chart to draw trendlines, I remember bravado (a member here on FF) used to draw TL's on Line charts, and I've been testing it out and comparing it with drawing TL's using wicks/candles, I can't say drawing on which chart is more accurate but either I think is fine. I always keep tuning the trendlines to see if I've drawn them correctly or not, but remember always use other tools as well because the TL alone is not enough to trade with.

Thats funny, I've been doing the samething lately to see if one is better than the other. I have noticed that when it is trending, it will hit once, may come short a couple of times but will then come back to it to lean on.

Yep 4h 50ema seems a good support, we might test it again today and like you said if it gives way then 50% is on the table.

I know this question was not directed at me, but if you have problems on finding highs and lows to draw fib retracements you can use this indicator. Its just zigzag with settings I found useful. Simple trace it with your fibo tool and you get decent lines. You can see it on my chart a few posts back

Is there a possibility that the price is moving towards the weekend gap at about 239.93 area?

i just notice that the SMA5 (high) on D1 is at about 240 area and the price is trying to break the SMA5 (close) now.

238.92 is a good level to take some partial profit from 238.45...Daily 5SMA plus next fibo level...

If there is a price break over a weekend, does it come back to fill that gap? I looked on my 1 day chart, on Oanda and it shows a gap between the 1st and the 4th.
