This is my Beta EA for FXCM Trading Station II...Is a modification of the original "Junior_TS". For the moment you have to set the HIGH and LOW manually, but I m working in a Access Database for do that. No problem with delete the limitis, change the Stop and Trailing Stop.

Hello everyone,

I want to thank everyone who has worked so hard on this trading system especially Mikelath,Pr1mer and Piphunter196. I also want to thank Yoda_Glenn for helping me with my questions. Some of the answers to my questions may seem obvious but since I'm a newbie I am still learning. With that being said I have downloaded the new ea ibfx version to my experts file and reopened my platform and nothing happens. So my question is what do I need to do next to get this ea to work?

Each EA has been modified to the time changes for each broker that I have listed above. They also take into account if the broker has missing bars from their close on Friday and their open on Sunday.

Pr1mer wrote this EA and deserves the credit for doing so. I am just trying to help with the time issues and, thus, I have made a couple small programming changes. His instructions on how to set up the other parameters are HERE.

If we can get everyone on the same time schedule, we can start checking other aspects of this EA. If there are any changes that need to be made after we start using the Fall Versions of the EA I will let you all know.

Sorry My Friend, but FXCM is not a MT4 broker.

will be soon they are currently beta testing mt4, just thought i would throw that out there in case anyone was interested, as yet they have not given an expected date for delivery.

Thanks for your PM. I would have responded but since I'm a newbie to forexfactory I need 15 posts to PM someone. Where would I find the ea on my platform? I'm used to locating everything either under the indicators or template folders.

The following is the order information for IBFX as of 18:00 EST Sunday

EUR/USD
BuyStop = 1.4536
SellStop = 1.4416

USD/JPY
BuyStop = 115.47
SellStop = 114.37

EUR/JPY
BuyStop = 167.23
SellStop = 165.00

5pm EST (New York) as per post #1 is the time that orders are placed, taking the high and low of the previous 17hrs from 5pm EST ( New York ).
5pm EST( New York ) now equates to 8am in Brisbane, Australia.

My demo platform is FXDD, therefore I am using the EA for FXDD (fall version).

I understood that we are supposed to use 5 PM EST for the DayStart Parameter is that correct?

Therefore, if my demo broker's time equates to 23:00 for 5 pm my time (which is EST), then is 23 entered for the parameter DayStart?

In addition, what time would be entered for the LookBackHours based on the above information?

I'm an IB for them. They promised MT4 within "90 days" back in January of this year.

Talking to them last week, I've heard we should hear something new this week. If past performance is any clue, however, don't hold your breath. If it happens it happens.

Ok i have been missing in action here for the past couple of days (National Independence Days) and just need to ask three quickies about the new EA Pip Hunter has worked on.

1) What the hell is a Fall Version - Do you mean Full Version

2) If I did not start with the new Fall (Full) Version on Sunday Night do i have to wait until Sunday next week to attach it to my charts or just load it up hold my breath and hope for the best. And do I have to add the MQ4 file to the Experts folder or simply the EA .exe file.

3) I guess with the new EA I don't have to worry about time settings that PIP Hunter indicated to me was incorrect in my ODL Account.

Sam,

You do not need to change the time hour setting for the fall version. It is already done. That is why I made different versions of the EA with the times already taken care of. Just leave the setting as is.

Reddragon,

The FALL version is as it indicates - FOR THE TIME CHANGE IN THE FALL - I will make the next versions the SPRING version. This way everyone can keep them seperated.

You can load the EA at any time. The only reason it is critical to loading on Sunday is if it is not loaded within one hour of your broker starting you will not get your Monday Trades.

I do not know if all the EA versions are putting the orders in at the right time or not. I have not gotten any messages otherwise yet.
