Strategy Tester question

When I run strategy tester, it will not start with the beginning date I input. If I start with a year ago, it starts with 3 months ago. Also, if I change the expert settings and close out the MT program, the same settings are there that I used the last time. This occurs even if I delete the EA and reload it with the original one. So, the EA's in strategy tester are not refreshing. How can the settings for strategy tester be refreshed?

I think you only have 3 months of history data. Try open a chart with the pair and tf. Then scroll back to a year ago. This should give a year of history data.

I think jackt is right about missing data.

If you want to get rid of the old EA settings, go to "tester" directory and delete the configuration file(s) of the required EA or all. That should clear the old settings.
