What is DOW?? Are DOW and DOW JONES the same?? what are they? are they a company or what? I heard this dow have more influence for eurusd and gbpusd is it correct?

yes, they are the same. They are an american stock index. It contains the stocks of the top 30 industrial companies in the US.

DJIA {Dow Jones Industrial Average} measures the average Gain/Loss of the Top 30 "Blue Chip" Stocks Traded on NYSE. Strength in the DOW "USUALLY" means Strength in the USD.

The Top 30 are Seldom but, occasionally changed and when they are, it is bad news for the relegated Stock...

Standard & Poors 500 {S&P} does something similar but looks at 500 Stocks.
