That might have been it. Price touched the 4H 5SMA (around 240.05 on my chart) which is also the 61.8 Fib of the last move down and also the TFT level on the 30M Chart. Some good confluence there. I was able to re-enter at 240.18.

added one more at 240, and changed the beasts shorts to tight panties

since nobody has mentioned it, FYI 4h QQE has crossed downwards after a long time

GU is pushing higher just to complete that daily bearish pattern and then we'll be going to hell, it could start tomorrow.. stay tuned.

This could be the reason for that 200 pip bounce back up. Price basically bounced off of the Monthly 5SMA on my chart which is right around 237.70. It normally would have bounced more, but if I remember what Aus said before about the Monthly 5SMA, since QQE is crossed down and the Momentum on the Monthly is mostly bearish, we only got 200 instead of 500 pips.

I caught a falling knife so I won't enter into any more trades. North wise, the next resistance I see is 241.09, do you think the price will retrace to that area before the start of the Asian session?

The best support this bear have seen is 237.88 and then bounced off it.

what is your first TP if you don't mind me asking, is it at S1 of 237.88?

This could go all the way back to my purple line again 241.06. There is a bat reversal at 240.95. I will add some there if it gets there. I closed my lower shorts on the failure of the symmetrical triangle. It should have been a continuation but wasn't.

I agree on that possibility. We just came through some bullish divergence on the 15M, 30M and 1H charts. That last bounce up might have satisfied it. However, the 1h Stochastics has just turned up out of near OS status. I'm going to watch that to see how it plays out. The 4H Stochastics has just basically crossed down, so they might neutralize each other which would cause price to range right where it is. I'll know more for sure once the 1H Stochastcs moves closer to the 50 line or even into the OB area.

I use 8,3,3. I can't remember if that's default or not, but default would be fine on any platform. RSI with a default setting would also serve the same purpose to let you know when price is oversold or overbought. I mainly use it as a general guide, not for entries or even exits. It lets me know why price might be stalling in a certain area and it can also be an additional reason for price to reverse if I have other indicators telling me that.

I use 80, 20 on Stochastics. I think RSI is usually 70, 30. You'll notice on my charts that I also plot the 50 line in the middle of Stochastics just for reference. Sometimes Stochastics will turn around at the 50 line instead of moving from top to bottom.

I just realized why you might have thought I used 70,30 for my OB and OS levels. In my last post to Zoran I stated that the 1H had just crossed up out of OS levels. It hadn't actually been underneath the 20 line. I corrected that post so no one would get confused. What I meant was that the 1H had just crossed up out of near OS levels.

That would be nice. What area is your 4H Gann near? My MT4 is showing it around 238.75.
