If I were to hazard a guess, I would have to guess this thing will range until NFP on Friday. Now that is not to say there will be nothing to trade beings ranging with G/J can be 50+ pips either way. But I would guess you will have to work for every pip today.

Any thoughts?

I am short from 238.72 ( late in the boat). Any suggestion , should I close and take the loss ?

When you look at your chart, do you feel it is going to push farther down? If so keep your trade, if you think this is gonna push to 241, then close that puppy now. I am honestly surprised that Chrysler cutting another 12000 jobs isnt pushing the market down more. Add that to announcement of domestic car sales for this year so far, and why wouldnt the bottom begin to fall out of this baby?

Well if you can wait, another 100pips down on g/j is easy. Just wait after lunch time. Then another round of selling will come.

I think at the moment, the price is trying to get itself out of the OS lvls in the 15mins chart. ONce this is done Im sure the downtrend will continue to the 1hr 200ema lvls...

One of the things I am learning on this site, is that all of the mature and experienced traders will advise in one way. That is do what YOUR chart is telling you to do. Unfortunately for me I speak english and right now my charts are speaking in greek. LOL.

I still want to just say thanks to some of the expert analysis that has been offered up here. Also sorry I have been away, as I have started my new career at Citifinancial recently my daytimes have been in office and away from charts.

Sorry this response is late. I stepped away for a few minutes. Price seems to be consolidating a bit right now. I'm going to wait until the 1600 GMT candle to see what Momentum looks like. Right now Momentum is mixed on the 1H. I'd like to see a higher bounce up to add more shorts. 239.18 might have been an OK level to add for those who did, but I'm gonna' play it a bit more on the conservative side.

Hi Karm, you are right, I don't have time now, will analyse thouroughly over the weekend to time the moves, but the pound will slide, and slide big, not sure that we had seen the top yet without some more precise calculations, next week there are a few important time dates(Gann) I'll post a complete analyses Sunday. But at the moment, I'm biased on the slide at least for a few more days.

I'm not a fundamentalist, so Markam could probably answer this better than I could, but you have to remember that just because the technical aspects of a chart are lining up, price is not necessarily going to move 'when' you think it should. I have had to learn this the hard way myself. A lot of my analysis has been one to two weeks ahead of price movement. Remember, there is literally billions of dollars in this market on both sides. For price to move even the way it has today so far is a monumental event in this kind of market. It's easy for us little guys to lose sight of that sometimes. It should go down quite a bit more over the next several weeks and months from a purely technical point of view, but the so-called 'freefalls' will be rare. Just my opinion.

The GBP should start to push down, but isnt there equaly negativity surrounding the JPY which could also hinder the exchange rate?
