It could be a .25 cut I don't think a .50 is happening. Economy in general is not doing that bad if the cut happens it would be to satisfy the bankers. Just my take on it

Another nice little move up.

I have a resistance level on my chart at 237.75 were price has justed bounced off so it could possibly be a reversal point also we are at the midpoint of a channel I have on the daily.

Personally though I am looking for the price to continue up maybe finding support at the daily R1?

Of course I'm still long from this morning so it would be nice if it kept going.

so KARMO can u explain to me why this spike occured ?thank u and do u think is it a spike or he going up?

I agree, I think we might see a reversal from here as well but as we all know tomorrow is IR announcement and things could change.

If you look at Dow Jones chart, you will notice this pair is doing nothing other than following it.

I agree that when the Dow makes a strong move, this pair will follow closely. However, when there is no strong move (such as today), I believe it follows the Dow with a BIAS--either up or down. For example, earlier Dow was down -70 and the pair barley nugded down, but any upward move by the Dow and it has reacted very quickly....so today's bias is to the upside. I see this happening quite often in both directions. What I do not know is how to figure (early in the NY session) which way the bias will be for the day (assuming no strong Dow moves). Perhaps Mr. Markam or another senior member could post their thoughts on this.

GBPJPY/DOW has strong pressure pushing it up since 12pmEST and could close near 73points-- to its open if not 13,870...Then will be overbought and GBPJPY will have sell off around 5-11pmEST

Not in my opinion. Although it might pay off on this occasion and you could get in at the top, you would surely get burnt sooner or later using this flimsy strategy. I might consider going short if there was a 15m Auslanco signal to confirm it.
