Hey Gnat, sorry for the delay, last night my computer kept freezing when I tried to save a screenshot. Here it is..any ideas what caused this? Or I'm I overlooking something obvious? Thanks

Well i missed out on 100 pips today, been so long since I have been trading I hesitated and passed on the trade. Gotta trust in the system. There are more good signals then bad ones esp if you can tell from a glance if the market is ranging or not. If you take a bad trade the opposite signal will get you in the right way.

Now just need to repeat that to myself.

LOL! I missed it too - but my excuse was I was sleeping. I'll get'em tonight.

Hi Wolfy...

well it remains a complete mistery. Two of the trades had a stop-loss, but they were not triggered and the price was not even close!
Maybe it was a false signal from the broker for the demo accounts only. I cannot see if you were close to margin, but with that kind of lotsize, I trust you run a big demo there. So only from me. Hopefully it was not the end of your predestined trading hours and the EA simply shuts down the remains at the end of it!

My method of placing SL at the parabolic dot 2 before the current (in other words at the 3rd dot) is the result of my testing on 5m, certainly it may be too far on longer timeframes. On 30m it may be better to use the dot 1 before current, on 1H and up it may be better to use the current dot. Since I haven't tested those timeframes I can't say for sure, but certainly on a higher timeframe the previous dots may be too far away.

When Skyline adds parabolic as an exit, I hope it will be possible for a user-defined setting for the number of previous dots.

Hey Glen, I have been playing with the Lag indi you referred to...It's quite accurate. That template Imran put out works very well when I have the patience to sit and scalp. lt's kinda fun, too! There is also a sound alert for when the Laguerre crosses, but I haven't been able to get it working right..also, it's got one of those evil sounding computer generated voices suitable for Halloween maybe, but pretty annoying and the sound doesn't carry to other rooms very well. But, hats off to Herbert for posting the alert.

In fact I had just started trading for the night, had a long way to go time wise....And yes I'm running a demo with lotsa margin space... Anybody else got a take on this?

I know, I'm fine now I was just disappointed because I thought I had it figured out 100% wins No worries. Life goes on, I'm still testing it. The only thing I don't like about GBP/JPY is my broker has a 9 pip spread with this currency. So I have to get at least +10 pips to be +1.

I'm using Supernova v2 with recommended settings and was wondering if I should be closing trades manually because I don't really see TP values?

I think that would be good! If you monitor the trades and manually close them, you clearly optimize your pippage. Until now!

Ok, so I should close trade when all three indicators agree to go the opposite direction? Maybe I should be using v1.3a Glenn.

EDIT: Do you guys need to know when a bad trade was made to diagnose the issue? (See Pic)

Well I just figured out why my EA suddenly started working ok. I recently have been using stops and limits, otherwise I get no exits from any indicators. So for me, I do get entrys (late entrys, by the way) from EA but no exits. Has anyone else had this happen? I can't be the only one having this issue, right? Is anyone here using indicators only for exit and not stated stops/limits??? I'm beginning to wonder if Matrix and I are the only ones using the ea...well, I know Glen is...Glen, HELP!!!

Hallo Matrix!

Close the trade manually as soon as you have a glimpse of a reversal. So if the QQE is about to recross, the DMI lines are closing in on each other and the MOM is "looking" into the opposite direction, there is no need to wait for the crosses to really take place.

Getting out you have to look at the price action taking place and then just protect good pips already in your pocket.

The trades that you pointed out on your chart were all a bit late after the QQE cross. If you look into the optimal settings tableau of Qpip you will see that sometimes "Filters off" is the best setting.

Closing manually could also be guided by the method created by Awesome792 using the daily Pivot and (even more advanced) the Ichimoku Kumo resistance levels to end the trade.

Wolfeman ... I guess there are many more using the EA. Looking at the download numbers there may be more than 20. I have been using it last week and it worked. But Glenn is the better reference here!
