Closed longs at 235.05 for 50pips gain.

Shorted at 235.05 for 233.90

Karmo, Aus, HK M2B, Markam, Zoran... all the respectful analysts here, I've a question to hedge on a long term trade. What are the methods you use, and how to apply in real life? I heard options are available, where can I get? Bet on spreads? ... Different pair with positive interest swap...

But how did you draw your Fibs? I see your 0 line way below the bars on the screen. Also if you explain the graph a bit would be beneficial to other members

Second, how do you hedge? I see from your signature you use hedge, and I get it as you use it extensively, please let me know on what you work with and what is best method, thanks

i NEVER hedge ! if any of my positions stink, i dump it! --lol

but i believe someone in FF is known to do very well in it--i think JACKO--dont quote me--chk his thread out

Sorry, gtt, but I peronally don't hedge at all. I've looked into currency options, most recently the 'box options' offered by Oanda, but haven't found anything I personally like yet. If I lived outside of the USA I would have already opened an account with betonmarkets.com and would be working their smaller time frame spread 'bets'. US laws forbid US residents from being involved in that type of online 'trading/gambling'. From what I can see, their platform is very similar to regular currency options, but the way their margin/leverage/payouts works, it goes against US online 'gambling' laws. I am not a 'gambler', and as such didn't see their platform as gambling because of my past knowledge of currency options, but it is 'defined' as gambling. Then again, isn't it a gamble just getting out of your bed in the morning? We can save that for a philosophical thread. Anyway, good luck with your pursuits.

Ok....I wanted to find out if i can be able to post the chart....thank you for teaching me.....

Ok the red dot reperesent "bearish momentum" whilst the bleu dots signals "Bullish momentum".....but the "ADX"...on daily is for long term trades....so long term the pair is "Bearish" but Intraday is a different story.....unless if momentun drops below 40% ....pivots are on a daily....

OK I'll make full analysis.....in a bit I need to rest my eyes first.

About hedging....I'll explain later today.

Just so everyone is aware that london comes online in 7 minutes due to changes in daylight saving time during the weekend just gone by.

Just didnt want someone to be caught unawares if any moves happen on london open.

New daily momentum is bearish, I'm favoring bears today over bulls, There is tough resistance at 235.20-.50 area, so I'm short from 234.71 and target is low 233 area.

i will be going short but waiting for 235.90, it's the 365 ema on H4 and that's gonna be the first visit since the price crossed it down on october 19th.... we'll see
