Ouch ... I did not know that - was that before he came to the thread a bit "dizzy in the head" from booze or was it afterward? Maybe we can rebuild him a bit. LOL - poor soul - but he ran into the ever friendly arms of Awesome first, and I was sure getting nicer as I learned it was beer behind it!

BTW: My deleted post is back on now. I also found someone to be unfriendly to. Hihihi...

I would have neede FUKITOL this afternoon as the nest was full of other peoples dragoneggs!! I just had THE WHO full throttle for a song or two (elve)...

As I am about to complete my round of tests (for refined TPs for the B&Bs), I noticed that septembre and even more october, have not been good months at all for the system. They're bringing my averages down quite a bit.

Since I didn't get a chance to be "in the market" and watch the charts all that much, could you guys please share your opinion as to how well your own trading went during the last 2 months vs the rest of the year.

I would like it to be triggered by e.g. the CCI and last for one candle only. If during that time the trade was not stopped out, then the CCI either has to trigger it right again (Candle end = next Candle's start) or if the CCI no longer is in the critical range, the PSAR will go to sleep again.
Reason behind it: Not every retracement should end the trade that may resume into the same overall direction later on. But clean reverses of the direction of our trade should run into a stop as soon as possible on the longer TFs.
Right now the 4H strategy gives away more than 50% of the pips "possible" especially on sharp retracements.

I am sure that this one is not so easy. Please let me know, whether it is possivle at all. Otherwise, in order to make some money from this system we may go to scale out of trades with the managetp.

Phew, let me try to rephrase what you exactly want it to do:

If I understand you correctly, you want the logical AND relation of the CCI and the PSAR:
If the CCI of the forlast (last closed) candle is opposite to the trade direction AND current price penetrates the PSAR, the order should be closed.
If this is the case and you do want this all to happen in the same TimeFrame, then this is easy to do.

The various small deviation EAs that ran/run on my mini-real testaccount for forwardtesting did amazingly well and nearly all of them were doing H4 charts.
There were very special days, when I woke up to +700 pips overall in open trades. The problem will be in pure dot-to-dot procedure, as the corrective moves were very sharp and fast. This leads to a lag that will even make losses possible with trades that were 200-300 pips up!
I just closed manually and saved a lot of pips and made some money while testing. The last week does not count as I was in bed (bad) most of the time!

Just my 3.000 pips (LOL)

Sorry - forgot something: I also experimented with scaling out of the trades and that cost money and pips, but left all the trades in a surplus. Normally I set the first target at 25 for majors and 40 for crosses *JPY and 50 for GBPJPY. Then the seconds target was further 25 pips on each (all increments 25 afterwards) closing 20% of my position. Moving of stops: 20 =>1; 40=>10; 75=>30.
