rcmcfe,you wouldnt be missing anything if you pay his fees for his invaluable teaching.it amazes me how people on here expect effi to give everything out for free like he is supposed to or something.this man has proved his power for months.i tried to get him to quit giving free signal and charge $250 or $500 a week,it will be definately worth it,ill be more than happy to pay it no questions asked.if he posts something here just do it,dont worry him to death people with lame questions,he dont have time for it.he would say the same thing but hes too nice to word it like this.

it was expected dolar to move higher,but,fundamentals came with bad news to the us-dolar....im not an expert,but....may be its 1 of reasons.....

Well, I know it can be frustrating to miss out on a long run if and when it happens, but if you got out with a profit, I don't view that as a mistake. And besides, there are always going to be more trading opportunities. Always.

Hey, Effi! Why did you close that trade? The price indeed reversed, but the SL was not hit, although you decided to close it. After that the trade becomes profitable. So, what's the point of the SL? Are you using lower TF for earlier signals?
A good trade is when I Break Even. A great trade is when I Take Profit.

that was a slow motion trade, took forever to move, then pop. maybe he lost patience and thought it was a fake-out. i sure would have. i still like my eur/jpy, finally the stars, i mean the lines have aligned. unless something wierd happens, i see a short soon.

Jumped in a trade with hugh SL, then jumped out few minutes later without SL being hit. Looks more like a gambling than a trading.

Actualy it's just called, a bad trade.

If a scenario doesn't work out, it fails.

Just because we have a "wide" Stop Loss doesn't mean it has to be hit, that in itself, while the ability to prevent it is available is nothing short of plain suicide.

Being able to aknowledge patterns that may hint towards a reversal or the failure of a technically based assumption are just as important as anything else.

Trade execution is easy and can be thought to anyone. It's intra-trade management that can become difficult when your aim is to minimize any losses that may develop into an occurence.

The idea is to cut losses short here and let profits run.

If you registered here just to bash me, you probably haven't been following this thread.

I find people who form oppinions of something without any knowledge of it to be well.... i won't use the world, but i'm sure you're "smart" enough to guess it.

You're right Effi.

It's much better to cut your losses and live to fight another day. There are plenty of more trades out there. I have found that chasing trades hoping they will reverse will fail most of the time.

I am not here to bash you. Just don't get you why you set a huge SL if you want to "cut losses short". If you believe it a valid entry, why did you set a huge SL, if you used such huge SL, why did you enter this trade in the first place, why didn't you wait a bit for a pull-back. I am using a system developed by myself in my live account; the reason that I have been following this thread is that I noticed some of your signals posted here are very close to those from my system. My system gives far less signals but with much higher reliability, I have never used a SL greater than 40 pips, and still made a LOT pips. I admit that some of your entries were great, but others (including this long GBP/JPY) were really bad, and for me, you were obviously trying to trade against the market. Whatever you trade has none of my business, but I just couldn’t refrain myself from pointing this out for those less experienced traders who blindly follow your signals Trading is a serious business not a gambling, and some of your trades were just like gambling.
