I take these trades too. I call them "B" and "C" trades, when not all the criteria are lining up exactly. I reduce lot size, stop loss and target price.

This is true, I didn't make myself too clear but Im doubtful also of the 230 area as this has been support for quite some time now. As for the asian session tonite, as long as it doesnt break my downtrend line, I am still bearish on this pair. If and once it does however, I don't plan to take a trade in either direction at the moment. Thanks for the input Pipscruiser

The most out of the GBPJPY we will get up for now is 234.40 strongresitance or 234.69 then fall back down

Hi turn1to100, could you PM or comment to me about your thoughts on the EUR/CHF within the next few days? I am not doing this to bash you or anything like that, I just want to try and understand your thinking. You made an excellent call earlier on the GBP/JPY, but thats just one call and I, along with everyone else here, couldn't base a solid understanding with just one good call. It takes A LOT of good calls to be an effective trader. I think this is why you've taken some heat. This is because after you posted that, you bragged about it for several posts (Hey I would too, I like knowing that I was right-and the rest of the world), and most traders here have a thought process that if you have to brag about one good call to boost your ego then your probably taking quite a bit of losses and this is why you need that boost in ego. Thanks in advance. I appreciate any insight of your analysis.

I actually doubt it will get that high again tonight, unless we get some spike and then it cruises back downwards. As I said, this channel seems to be holding quite well for now - and that's all I can say about the situation. If it would go that high, then I would be flat.

Hey fxstman, I'm posting this just as a reminder. Don't take a trade based on someone elses analysis. Use your own, and see if you can agree with them as to the situation- if you can then great. If you can't, find out why, do some more research, and then take the trade based on your own look on the market. This is a reminder, most traders fail. If you've done your homework, and you think your right, then why rely on someone else? That's how I feel about it anyways.

Thanks Mike, good advise. As said last night by someone, alot won't admit to being a noob, well I am and don't have problem w/ it. I do have a problem when a noob like me asks a reasonable Q to learn and get nothing but an attitude instead of teaching. Thanks and always open for learning!!!

Currently we have a ver bearish (momentum)4hr candle. Therefor the direction will be bearish bias until 4-5 GMT, If we get another bearish 4hr candle at 4.00 GMT that will override the 8hr bullish candle and price will be choppy until the 8hr candle finish. If we get a bullish (momentum)4hr candle at 4GMT the price could shoot up.

But you only take long positions after a strategy confirmation. Right now we are on a 15min strategy- short trade.

Not sure how wise this trade will be but went long at 233.59. Nice bounce from the 233.40 area and 30 min chart shows the stoch and mom looking to the north, 15 min stochs never made it back to OB on the last run up so....... Just for a few pips up to 233.90 area at first and then see how things go from there. stop just below the 233.40 area.
