Hey u are not the youngest

I was 19 when started with Full-Time forex trading(learning), I'll be 21 in a month time. The time flies when you are having fun

I would say create your own trading system. Either by combining multiple systems you find online, or building you're own from little bits & pieces you found usefull and applicable. Either way, you need to have a system to a.) Determine trend b.) Determine trade entry
It takes time to learn, no miracle is going to happen so have some patience and start studying/learning.

I was 19 first time learning FOREX. Now I am 22 years old. I am a very succesfull trader for 6 months so far.

I must say, FOREX is a damn hard business. I have skipped University and some social life to study this thing. But hey, I like BIG business, I like making BIG profits, so these two things give me motivation to study hard. To me, at least 40 hours work a week!

Some studies like Risk Management, Money Management, OHLC, brokers, creating own theories pfffff.

If I look back to these things, my head hurts.

I am glad it is all over!! Now I only work 4 hours a week and FOREX can combine with school and social life. And... I come here to improve my English

As it stands FXGURL is still the youngest with her age being 18. JJK2 states he is 13, but I have a problem with this claim.

Anyone younger than FXGURL who turns 19 in November?
im 17 and have been trading for about a year and a half, so...i started around 15! i think im gettin better at it lol...

I've been trading since 2000 and am 21 now and looking back I'd have to say it was much tougher emotionally and mentally to trade at such a young age. I think you need the maturity to make it really big - you're not going to make a fortune (and hang onto it) trading at 16 or 17.
I am 20, started *following* the forex market when I was 18.

the only problem is that every broker seems to be a bucketshop that is betting against me, so i haven't put a dime into the market although my practice accounts are huge. I just don't think that in real life they would let me keep that money.
Well interesting thread!!

I stumbled upon this world at the age of 16 (3 years ago) when I googled "MAKE MONEY". After learning about forex, reading some trading books and some time with a demo account, I signed up at Oanda with my mother's details and started my journey as a Live Trader. According to my compound calculator, I was oncourse to making $1,000,000 in 3 years. Just a few months later, ended up losing all the $500, splitting up with my Girlfriend for not spending time with her and a pair of glasses for staring too much at the PC.

I took a break, then came back with a better attitude. I still had the desire to make money, but I thought long term. So, I took up Psychology as my A-Level option along with Maths, Physics and Computer Science hoping that would make me a better trader. Started reading the Financial Times while my friends would look at Page 2 of The Sun (UK residents would know). Even went to greater heights and listened to binaural beats to achieve a meditative state to help contain my emotions during trading.

Just a little over a year ago, I started trading live and I have to say, I am more than happy with myself. I still use a compound calculator when I am in DREAM mode.:

I wish I found Forex before, or better said, research deeper into it.

I used to have a computer business, and saw it appear lots of times in google; the first time I lightly glanced at it, but the results of the search were mixed with hyip's, i thought everything was a complete scam and forgot about, up to now, 5-7 years later.

BTW, I wish you success in your quest.
