You expect BOJ to lower rates?
I'm not much of a fundies guy but everything I've read about BOJ pointed to a rate increase before 2008, possibly next month.

Yeah, that's what everyone wants them to do but if their economy isn't going anywhere, the $ dollar is weak and their goods cost more, does anyone really expect them to increase rates when their industries will suffer? (Everything that I post is my own personal opinion)

Is this the first time you trade with Oanda?
They charge interest from the very first second you enter the trade, and they'll charge your account either @ 4:00 EDT or when you close the trade, whichever comes first.

Just my two cents. I have been using them in two ways. Carry trading and intraday. So when I have interest neg. trades going, my carry helps off set the interest being paid. During interest neg. trades I still for the most part come out ahead when they pay up @ 4:00 EDT. In the five months that I have been doing this, my account has grown pretty good just off the interest.

Kind of but I'm still in until 233.30...gaps aren't always close right away...sometimes it takes the entire day

Would like to ask the expert's opinion about the correlation of gbp/usd and gbp/jpy.

If not mistaken during the last great fall from 251 , g/u also did fall badly.

So can we see that again if g/j falls rapidly, then g/u will follow suit?

Which is why I'm saying G/U will reach 2.07 first and G/J retrace up until around 237 and from there both collapse...markets are in no position to collapse just yet....but are very close

Hrrm okay. But I think g/u will retest 2.0500 support soon b4 deciding going up further or going straight down because of massive gbp/jpy selling.

Back in August, we saw a preview of carry trades unwinding. I do not see that right now. The only thing happening right now is $ weakness. we should see some fireworks in the very near future (maybe in a few days but no more than a few weeks from now).

aus,hk, or karmo or any of the guys with some history with this pair.

Should this hover in this area for awhile this evening, or can we start to expect the retrace sometime soon? Also will 235.5 provide resistance as it did in september?

Weekly:
Price retracemnet upto 237.70 area within this week. If it breaks 237. 70,
239.30 or possibly 241.50+.
