That's a pretty awesome tool... I D/L'ed it yesterday, and setting up longer term charts "in the background" of the main charts. I like getting a "bigger picture", but don't want to waste space or switch time frames periodically.
Another good screen-space tool is Virtual Desktop Manager from Microsoft's Power Toys. It's a so-so emulation of Unix/Linux's capability to have more than one desktop. I tried freeware programs for this, but the ones more sophisticated than MS's version wound up giving me errors or screwing up my icons.
Speaking of Linux, I should see if they ever got the USB wireless card issue resolved with Ubutnu... it's been several months since I played around with that.
Here I try to update myself on this thread and end up feeling sick, cause of some who has what I call bad intentions.
Sorry for being so blunt about this. I am a highly sensitive person (15-20% of population on this planet is this way) so then I react stronger emotionally than people do usually, like physically with nausea when I see negativity.
The weirdest thing is that I too had to tackle a "controlfreak" thursday. The day we had Fullmoon. DOH!
As for profiting or losing. I am still losing on the Rainbow Method, but I am soooo incredible clever that I dont have loss at all.
I made a deal with my friend, who pushed me to trade live with micro-lot, to invest with him, so I would end up with profit anyway. So all in all, he is earning the profit for me while I am practicing with the micro-lot on EFX. I put about the same amount with him as I put in my account. The last four weeks I have had a profit of 55,1% of the investment with him (the power of compounding), while I myself had a loss of 6,7% in my own account (have had a mix of loss and profit trades).
So I still have a good margin to lose while practicing the Rainbow Method. But I wouldnt be so surprised if I suddenly get it and start to profit myself too.
Persistence and determination.....yes, these traits the only things that makes us Masters of whatever we want to do. Talent helps, but is not enough alone.

:, I thought I would point here that the last video capture I did I used this transparency tool. When playing back the video however, only the solid window showed up - no sign of the semi-transparent window in the recording.I assume this is the way the software grabs the data from the graphics card and so will try and find a work-around this weekend.

:Ubuntu is going to release their semi-annual upgrade next week, and it's supposed to update GNOME to v2.2 and have Compiz Fusion (the next step after Beryl) built in.
EDIT: So I guess Mint uses Ubuntu as a base and has better support to improve it. I'll have to look more into that. And Feisty already had built-in Compiz?! Damn... I need to pay more attention to the release notes.
Yes. Actually meant naked as in pure rainbow (not really true nakedness but sort of like having just the underclothes on)
. BTW, even though the rainbow is technically 20 some-odd MAs, I consider it one indicator... just a nice looking one. Think of a couple of MAs as a T-shirt and shorts, and the rainbow as a Brook's Brothers suit.

Haven't heard of Mint. I've heard of OpenSUSE and Red Hat, and decided to go with Ubuntu because it was easiest to "work out of the box"... which it was until I had the wireless card issue. I also have Puppy on a USB thumb drive for a stripped down OS in case something crashes... besides, it has such a cute name.

hey lt, i remember you mentioned you live in est timezone but chose to trade from 3 to 3:30am. is it because early us session is usually packed with news?
can you post your schedule? waking up every night is not very convenient plus the golf courts are usually closed after you're done with trading thanks

News times are mostly 4:33am and 8:33am... You can scalp any time... No need to have a set schedule like 9-5 job... Maharajah from Astoria must setup his own schedule... LoL
wow..........167 pages with 2,498 posts in 2.5 days..........glad I spent the time to go through them all..... in order to shorten the learning curve I may end up doing it again in another week! I found it helpful to have read the e-book before going through all the posts. Next step is read the e-book again.......getting "charged"
