And the Xs mostly seem to mark highs/lows. How can we know a high/low until AFTER it passes?
.........

high & Low, its quite easy to notice them.. They come down fast then Halt..for half sec. then they go back up... when they halt, exit.

They shoot high then halt, then they continue, up or down... you can exit there.

you can always stay a while longer if you believe it due for more movement.

Thanks for the upgrade LT!

Also: Yesterday was quite interesting. It was the first time that I
noticed a clear difference in trading in "good" and "bad" market
conditions. Needless to say good conditions produced good trades.
This seems to be the main trade filter needed to make the method
work really well. Filtering out, by recognizing and staying out of, relatively
inactive market periods is my task at hand.

Edit: I realize that scalping pips all day long, in just about any market condition,
is possible too using the rainbow. But, not for me quite yet!

Hi All,

Is anyone using this method on a 15minute to 1hr chart?...LT did write at the start of this thread that it can be used on any timeframe, with a sample chart of the 3hr.......Would the entry be based on the H/V lines like the 5 sec chart?
I am based in the UK, using a market maker and the speed of the movt means I can be killed by slippages and requotes.....using the 5 seconds chart.

Thanks in advance

my mom read it ... and she thinks it's absolutely crap...
and don't be mistaken, my mom is a very successful person.
plus the author looks a bit like a wacko.
as i already mentioned before - secret is hard work, correct choices, determination and so on. u dont need no book for that.
the only book that really enlightened me was "rich dad, poor dad". don't waste your time on bullshit.

now back to our topic - linuxtroll, do you enter trades when price pullback into the wma's? or do you just trade the reversal?

have a good day.
and remember - taxi driver must die!!! :surprised

it's all subjective
"rich dad, poor dad" sounds like crap to me, but it surely is a goldmine for its author
thanks lt for the update

Use Oanda and you will have no problems with 5 sec.

If you still beleive you have to move up a time frame go with 1m! You can trade 1m rainbow with about any broker and spreads like 5 pips on ej.

You can see some really good entry points on a 5 min chart. But , just giving my Oanda chart a quick look-through on the 5, it seems that you have to be patient, as you may get one or two an hour.

Hope this helps.

I just got 5 wins in a row. The difference seemed to be the liquidity
jump as registered on my spread meter. No more trying to trade
low liquidity for the Surfer.

Hey FXSurfer, can you explain more of what you mean by liquidity registered by the spread meter? Thanks!

Some reasons why I like this method :
1. It's damn simple.
2. It's working good (when taking high probability trades).
3. The creator doesn't surrender to demands like "you know, the xxi indicator will make it a 99.9% accurate" , "you must add trendlines, gann lines, momentum and etc.". The original system has never changed. Which makes it kinda easy to follow the thread without each page having a better suggestion how to refine the system, until you get lost with 100 indicators.
4. It is an eye candy (The rainbow is a beautiful thing to watch, especially when moving smoothly).
5. Suits scalpers like a glove!

This and more are the reasons why I like this method so much. Thank you LT.

The 2nd hour after Tokyo open. All winning trades were taken in the direction of the 30second chart.
