I really would appreciate bigger moves btw. You can see my loosing trade for the day on the EJ chart (plain blue rainbow).

Update: Grrr I miss way too much trades whenever I post here

@denaro, I use 6-150 WMAs interval 6, And I look for good setups to enter The key in such "bad trading conditions" e.g. slow ranging market is not the entry it is the exit. As you can see I (try to) exit as early as possible and only grab a few pips.

Always watch out for a new trend, my loosing trade for instance is as can see a lower probability setup since it is in the mid of a downtrend.

Yeah don't take that trade.

It is as I said a lower probability trade, Always find the new trends. If you want to take such setups use a 1-tick chart.

Actually I have only made one trade here since London open, and that was for a +7 pip gain, and that was my only trade.

I only take a few trades in a 24 hour period, and they have to be better then a small speck mark above a rainbow spine in order for entry, they have to have momentum from the 5 seconds and 30 second trend direction, along with my other charts up to my hourly chart.

I have 10 charts on my desktop going at one time, the 5 second is a great tool to see entry and exit, but I will never trade against a 30 second trend, that keeps us in profits a lot more.

Also, I watch the GJ on every move, which sometimes gives a sneak peak on what may happen on EJ, it usually leads the way on most moves by at least 3 seconds or so, but this is only my observation, which I would recommend to no one. LOL

First stop - Pips central -

Well like the title says I am finally starting to get my head around this. My only change is that I trdae the 5 min chart as I can't sit in front of the screen all day long. Damn work !!

I am able to check the charts sporadically. So 5 min is the man...

Thanks LT for for this great information.

My first trade is on the NZD/USD and currently 7.7 pips in the green

Thanks

thanks for your tips, always useful to listen to what 1kt says

same way, if you're trading off 1min chart then looking at 5min for direction is helpful
