"Mantra" used in most of this thread refers to a pdf file posted early on in this thread (Read it all) that describes guidelines to the Art of being a successful trader. I recomend reading every post from the begining taking breaks to check out GMMA and GUPPY posts as directed along the way. Happy learning

I see... Yes I DL'ed and printed a "mantra" and I guess that is the one refered to... 25 ways to Shine Shoes, or be a trader, or something like that. And I printed out the GMMA packets.

That's right.. I just spoke to the tree right outside of my window and that tree agreed to contribute a few branches ... the only thing left is to figure out how to fit them in my printer..

11pm EST set up a nice SHORT on the Rainbow for several great scalp entries, this was one of those trades that saw a tight consolidation with a noticable breakout downward.

Were now pressing the low of that previous low, but I am all out with +11 on first entry and +9 on second entry.

Very nice indeed, but still learning the entry and exit points.

LT, I am a golfer also and as such have a deep down hatred for trees!

Could you show some of your entry points on the charts above for us "rainbow newbees"

Why can't MT do a 5 sec chart, so much easier.

First let me say a BIG thank you to Linuxtroll for sharing your knowledge for free. An act that is unheard of in this Forex business. Yes, I am one that just mainly reads and does not usually post. But I had to say thank you. I have been trading live and demos for about 2 years. Like nearly everyone I have paid for lessons and advice countless times. The "Gurus" of forex that tell you to find your own trading style, then tell you you are wrong if that style does not match theirs, or the master systems set up with a set of rules no one can follow, Only take the trade if the 6 different MAs cross, while the RSI and MACD, Sars, line up while touching the BB bands. Maybe alittle over the top example, but you can get my meaning.
I say to the Guru that my style includes fast in and out, no holding over nite.(I like to Sleep) Then I am told buddy you sound like a scalper, you need to repent. Well LT's method works for me and his teaching style of making me think for myself has greatly improved my attitude toward trading.
I hope this post is not to long. Just some obeversations from me for whatever their woth.

Your horizontal lines, did you put them on yourself or are they part of Oanda's pre-determined support/resistances levels.
I am not familiar with all the options of Oanda.
I have been using intellicharts (fxtrek) for 1.5 years and they have their own levels.
