impressive charting packages we are seeing. I kinda like FXSurfer's setup more than anything right now.

FXSurfer do you have that indicator posted anywhere? It's great for seeing entry opps with trend.

Your posts are always appreciated.

Do you have a suggested rainbow setup that you
can recommend, LT? The one on the first post?

when we have a day with a directional trend it's easy to grab pips, you can enter everywhere in the spine direction.
How do we know when we are in a good trend? = When all MMA's are opening and a new spine is forming and has a good inclination
Ok and now where do we enter? = I prefer to enter when the price retrace near the spine and start going back in the spine direction
Ok and where do we exit if the price doesn't go in our way? = I exit when the spine get broken and maximum 10 pips loss or if the price doesn't go in my way after 20 minutes
My problem is how to know when we are in sideway movement and not to enter in a false wave.

I'm open for any suggestion

PS. How can I put an image not as attachment but directly in thread?

Happy trading to All

I am practicing Linuxtroll rainbow religiously for more than 4 months. Deffinately needs a lot of screen time, a lot of experementing and even more patience. As for results, they are gradually getting better and better. I am happy with rainbow and do not think I will change it on some other staff any time soon.
Linuxtroll was kind enough to help me along the way.
I want to ask him some questions, but the thing is I run out of the questions

Great Going, Andy!

I'm trying to put in as much screen time as possible, too.
Actually, I really enjoy it! From what I am understanding,
this is the way to use the rainbow to figure out how it
works. Going over past charts with 20/20 hindsight doesn't
get it done. Maybe posting live waves rather than past,
dead charts would be a good way. That might really clog up
the thread though! What do you guys think?

I'm going to go lay a few bricks! LOL

Charge on... Contribute...

One major point... There are no such thing as mistakes... Nobody can predict continuation of the move... if you sense that the market is moving against you; just get out and wait for another move... Much safer that way... read the mantra again... LoL

According to many feedback I received from Rainbow users -- one color version was much easier to trade... Go ahead and create this template... If you have problem let me know and I will create one (if time permits)

-remove the candle by selecting line chart (average price is fine)
-plot WMA 10-240 (much wider spectrum) (interval 10)

Cheers,

Thanks for the template, Metto! Very nice.

P.S. Venci, I want to say that I sure hope my reply doesn't sound rude.
I really think that the method outlined (in the first post) will work for you!
For me too, I hope!
