Sorry, I wasn't here when you had your exit strategy braindump Gnat.
I was in the gym doing some exercises on the rest of the body after exercising the gray matter at work all day.

The Parabolic thingy is in the latest version (in the mailbox now)
Concerning the other types: Higher Timeframe and the "Dancing TS" ()
I will read it again tomorrow and come back to you on them.

Lucky I was a glimpse faster to realize myself!! Just found your EMail running around the table to the Email-PC.

I actually stayed in Hamburg (near Hamburg) and will go up there next WE & drink the rest of Herbalessence - will be good for my grey matter I learned!

Well yes, I was a bit backlogged but managed to read up to date this morning (took me over an hour 10 pages). (but I read a bit fast)

It's not a question of blasphemy (LOL) it's a question of continually changing things. If we don't start from some base foundation, then we're flying in all directions (I know you're used to that). I like "improving" a base to its TOTAL FULLEST EXTENT POTENTIAL by optimzing the balls out of it. BUT...... I need to have a stable foundation from which to construct this MONSTER or else, again we're all flies.

But since I don't think cryten mega tested QQE=1 versus other settings (I'll let him answer this however), well yeah sure why not restart from the beginning ? I'm open. Our goal is FIND THE BEST SET UP WHICH WILL GUARANTEE US SOME GOOD PIPS........ whatever it takes.

Did I get that right?

Added timeframe - is not closing on a different TF. I understood that. But what is it meant to do? <maybe I just missed - it - something?>

Yessss and the smoothing factor will remain the same - only it will smooth a slightly different set of internal indies settings that will make the QQE adapt to TFs and pairs ... mimicri of the QQE (it rhymes)!
This is not a different foundation for the concept. If you built the foundation of a garage, you may find that it is mainly the same as the foundation of your house. It is the same concept, but done in a slightly different fashion, as otherwise your house would be in serious trouble.

Please see that Herbert has already finished the EA v2.1!!!!

If you have an EA attached to a pricechart, that pricechart is on a specific TF.
Now when the EA is nicely doing what it's supposed to do (making $$$$) and you change the TF of this chart, the EA will automaticaly get all it's relevant indicator data from that new TF.
That is something you do not want to happen, because you (or better: QPip did) have it optimized for the initial TF only.
By coding the TimeFrame parameter inside the EA, it does not matter any more on which TF you have attached the EA, it will only use the TimeFrame value.

Now if you leave it to 0, it will still take the current TF.
Only when set to 30 or 240 e.g. it will work on that 30Min or 4H TF only.

I'm off to bed now.

(just to make sure you don't feel bad, I have a very totally lousy "visual" sense (am an "ear" person) One day I come home from work and tell my husband "there's a new gas station at the corner (where we inevitably have to make multiple daily STOPS on the way to wherever), cause we need to go by that way). (I'm all mixed up in my () parenthesis but this is friday, who cares)

And he answers, a bit puzzled "yeah it's been there for, I think, four years now".

(And I had just noticed (ouch))

How's testing going? Have you found any good setups for QQEA yet? I did few tests earlier today with some success but now I'm just relaxing and watching tv but still... there's some deep need to read FF and run some tests, I quess I'm addicted to this then Well, I don't think I'm the only one

And your little 0.1k, that I noticed right away to be honest, is a very neat invention. Maybe this should be shown to Merlin, so he can get this as a prestage - making matters even more complicated. Very good!

I am sorry, I do not have the charts ready for EURJPY and the other pairs gone crazy. It is as I stated yesterday, but I created a grand maleur with the washinfmachine and had to wipe up nearly 200 liters from the bathroom floor and dry up the electrical bits that got all wet. The Washamasha is only 3 weeks old and I was a very happy fly when I came into the bathroom and it made "pitshipatshi" round my feet ... my wet feet! Grandious!

Now I am ready and it is already 18.30 here. Very productive day so far. I am really sorry! Hope to see you soon! BTW: Winsteadglenn published the next version today and I will look into that later on also.

Right! I feel completely useless, as I was wound up in this washingmachine business (see above), and have hardly done anything productive!

Und guten Abend auch nach Finnland!!

I will start now to put things together and test things all together. TV is so bad on Saturdays in Germany - it is unbelieveable. Musicshows for people beyond 85 years of age or the oldest Films in the world.

Hope you find some rest!
