Here is my finished analysis:

Results are quite self explanatory. There's definitely something very wrong with AUDJPY and NZDJPY (and to a certain extent CADJPY).

So for Manual and Auto, they're out next week along with the other "loser" EURJPY which basically goes nowhere (many trades were taken, tho, so I was feeding my broker toast with a cash flavoured SPREAD on it).

The 4 pairs left got the Autobots $274.22 (or 312 pips).

The B&B bots have slightly different results. I'm keeping only 3 pairs for this one and will take 0.2 lots instead of 0.1. The TPs will be 50, 50 and 100 (or maybe 40, 40, 100 like this week, I haven't decided yet)

I'm also thinking of testing another week of Autobots with exactly the same setting as this week (I'll call them OLDAutobots) just to check if AUD, NZD, and CAD just happened to have a "bad week" (happens to all of us, why not them!) just so I don't give them the toilet pipe award by mistake.

So I'll have 4 sets this time: OldAutoBots, NewAutoBots, Double B&BBots, and Manual Qpip (same as NewAutoBots but I'll be brilliantly (ahem) interfering)

OK, is it sunday pm already?? (markets haven't even closed yet for this week heh).

Sorry, I am only now picking up on velocity, as the phonecall from CANADA was taking mucho timo!!

I hope you did not switch off in frustration. I still have Gerardo on that and he is getting behind it. Seems to need some time, as the false candles must be handled first in building and then in wiping them out without damage...

And here is the other idea...

A dancing trailingstop that avoids to be hit until the QQE makes first attempts to cross.
I guess the graphic reacts on an impulse during the duration of the candle and is showing a crossing for a few seconds and then withdraws again as the price mives away a bit.

If the TS could become an SL in that instance, we would be getting out on a DOT or a midway reversal with most od the pips on our side! #400

Donno whether this is a thing one can program... Herby?

If we would get the new EA running (or the old one with the QQEA) we could possibly find out which settings are getting us out of our so far winning strategies in a pippier fashion.
Afterwards we could get into the lower timeframes and see how to make the EA - maybe rather the old one - profitable of those with the help of the QQEA.
Another thought, lent of the idea with the different timeframes a bit, would be to enter on ONE QQEA and close on another setting. QQEA-Entry & QQEA Exit.

Since I am now already set-up for next week with regards to which pairs and (etc. all that) and it's only 17:52 EST, I have the WHOLE week-end to put my squeaky grey matter onto these exit issues.

Rubbing hands, one eyelid closing in a bit, the other has eyebrow upwards, well a bit like this (except he's rubbing his chin, and the eyelid isn't closed, but the raised eyebrow is there) and I AM smiling .

Which direction to take? What beast to hunt first? What path to TAKETH? Hmmm, Hmmm

ANd I don't know where YOUR beer is, but I know where mine is hehehhe.

I have a "slight" problem with playing around with the QQE parameter. If I remember correctly, cryten got the idea of setting it to 1 after seeing the results of another approach which had 2 moving averages (don't remember which or if exponential or any of that) but one of them had a setting of 1. (I did the same with the infamous Spartabolic Tsar set to 1 on the 1 min TF for 1 week totally went crazy trying to squeeze bubble bath from that one, but that was in my early days, when I was just a novice (like 3 months ago heh))

Anyway, the whole supernova CONCEPT is based on QQE = 1.

I know, things can change in life .......

So cryten, was that originally "just a floating idea" or did it have more of a foundation than just "yeah that's an idea"?

I will look into that tomorrow and will come up with aome sort of excuse for them as you get up.

There have been very long downtrends with only small occasional retracements, that maybe triggered crossings that rendered invalid in only 2-3 candles. And those are the neckbreakers so far. It takes endless times to get the countersignal!

Theory so far - will try to find some graphical evidence t'morrow! :

Well ... the QQEA splits the indicator back into its main components and those may be played with - from now on - as they can be approached. This is not an blasphemous act (without asking Master Cryten in a flylike sneaky fashion) and may just be done with courage!
The last few days we were already getting all jumpy, Obiwan also, to get this feature to finetune mainly the exit!
