I'm with pipsteve on this, I thought I had it down but this week I have become confused, lots of posts to follow. I am still positive for the week but only a few pips. I made 11 trades that I thought were all good, waiting for a really nice setup but for some reason 7 of them stopped out, luckily the rest were for nice gains to leave me positive. A manual with charts only from Orange would be the most productive thing, or even recordings with live chart drawings from orange so we can see exactly how he draws everything as he does it. I am a ardent follower of this system, I believe in it but it has become increasingly diffucult to understand and implement the Orange way. I don't really care if I make 400 pips a day. I have plenty of money to trade with so multiple lots is not a problem, 20-50 pips a day would provide enough for generations of my family.

May be I've missed it but I just couldn't find the answer for this. It's quite interesting listening from you about this last six candles in TS. But I'm still not sure how to draw/use it in order to know the next day limit.

Anybody has tested this before may be can post some chart just to make it clear and I believe many will benefits from it.

I have to agree too. I have been following both of Master Orange's threads religiously. I was ok until about the last week - then I started to get a bit lost. Looking forward to the manual.

I know many are heading out for the Holidays soon. I just want to wish all my fellow Jedis and Orange the Happiest of Holidays and a prosperous New Year

Dear fellow SRDC students, I see the thread is getting out of control with lots
of redundant posts.

Let me be clear on this. To those of you new or starting with SRDC Level II:

There is a comprehensive official manual to study Level II on this thread. It's
been updated twice!!

It contains the teachings and charts directly from OR himself.

1) So please, do your homework, study the thread and study the manual before posting.
It's everything clearly laid out, as easy as it can be!

2) Please stop mixing SRDC level I in this thread and vice versa.

3) Also, DO NOT post charts with indicators, MA or other inventions than those for
LII. This is Trend Lines, LRC and Ergodic CCI with the official settings
and the resources from Accrete, Lou_G and Aha.

Believe me, doing so it's for the best of our own interest.

Merry Xmas to everybody and a Pipastic 2007 !!!

PS: OR, maybe Santa Claus is coming to your door with a big bag of chocolates!

I want to thank OrangeRoshan for his method and his great act of sharing which is why we are all here. I also want to thank traderlismiss, and preacher for all the work posting and keeping TS going. The chart you posted is in the 15 min timeframe, but it has the channels as if they were drawn in the 1 hour timeframe. Is that where our SRDC is heading? To take longer profits in bigger channels but analysing the patterns and candlesticks of the 15 min to make faster decisions?

I have not been able to draw very logical trendlines from the last six 15 min candles of the day (I do know... 6 is not a number set in stone), but I'm working hard. I hope I get the riddle right!

See post 1341 for further details from the Master.

Also, the Master gives a classic example of its application in post 1421, but it's a little hard to see the lime-green lines. Look at the bottom of the third seperator from the left.

I believe it applies to the last six candles of every day starting at 10:45 GMT on the 15 minute timeframe. Ideally you should backtest this for yourself. You can easily do this manually just looking at historic charts.

I give an example in post 1377. But if you also consider post 1370, by Bom-Bom, you will see that the trend line which starts around 11:15 actually touches on the 5th to last candle of the day, so should be considered the same as what I'm only partially showing.

Hi,

Classic SRDC II, as defined in the document 'SRDC II LEVEL - v2' considers only 1 hour and daily charts, to show1 hour candles dancing within the daily candle. The 15 minute channel should be considered an advanced application, I suppose, only for use when you really know what you're doing.

It was primarily introduced to give bored Padawan's something to do when the market is ranging. See page 24 in cited document.

Like everything else, nothing is set in stone, flexablity is the key, these are only guide-lines (not trend lines ). So, we are advised to look around the last six candles for trend confirmation, sentiment etc.

The calculations Aha is doing is incorrect. There are lots of Sunday candles missing in the historic data, which invalidates his calculation logic.

I would suggest to all newbies to read the thread so you can get a good understanding of what the system is all about.
