i just cost myself 10 percent of my account because of failure to use a SL. and that was after waiting out the last 2.5 hours after that retrace. My stomach is in knots.

I entered a short at 235.19 instead of a long. bonehead move of the day! so i want to just go lay down and grab a beer now. I hate it when everything you earn in 2 days or 3 days is lost in 15-20 minutes because of a dumbass mistake

SORRY I had to vent somewhere and I hope no other people out there decide to make my stupid mistake!

Just Quick Momentum analysis:

we have good bearishmomentum from 4GMT to 6GMT.
6GMT to 8GMT there will be a consoldation for the UK news.
I will update the new UK session momentum at 8GMT.

Retracement up to 236.35 is highly possible any time before 1700EST regardless how low the price will dip. if we get this retracement before NY open, we could see a strong bearish movement from 1600 GMT onwards.

It's not safe to go long unless you aim for 30-50 pip scalps.

ok serious question here, if the nikkei dropping over 300 points cant hold a break below 235.50 is it likely that this breaks tonight before london

A new daily high for GU and a new daily low for UJ. GJ is stuck in the middle of the tug of war.

I would suggest everyone to leave nekkei analysis only to Markam. This will only make everyone confused. I never follow Nekkei and my account is up by 130+ pips already for today. Stick to the technicals on your charts front you.

For whatever it is worth, it looks like the european markets are going to start off very negative, US premarket is negative, treasury bonds are up, and gold has hit a new high during the asian session.

All in all, the fundamentals look really bad if you are long or if you are thinking long.

Totally agreed . very strong berish mometum on my technicals as well. Daily 14C Mom has crossed down the 50 line for the first time since the start of this bullish trend .I think the bigger moves are due after 10GMT.

Here's the result of my long term (long) position that I took on Oct 1st (235.50) & 2nd (235.10). I scaled out portions of my positions at 240.00, 238.50, 236.00 and finally break even at 235.50 and 235.18. Made some decent interest and had fun following the ups and downs this pair. I still feel that we will get to 251.00 before the end of the year.

I'm waiting to do it all again.
