Well, let's see sticking to the basics, we had a triangle breakout, which in itself could be an indication of an unfolding trend. Next we have a possible wave 1 from 240.69 to 235.85, we had a proper retracement with a zig-zag pattern in wave 2 to 238.80, now we should see a violent wave 3, wave 3 is almost always violent and should equal to or be at a ratio(bigger) than wave 1, forgive me won't go into ratios, look up Elliot wave and plan to have a headache for the next half a year at least. So that being said I look forward to wave 3, on the other hand we may have an xyz pattern unfolding in which case we will head higher than 240.69, but not by much, this is unlikely though. I only see a completed structure on the dow, yen has not completed it's leg 3, so I think the fall should come, don't enter without a confirmation, good luck.

and to all of that I will give a big HUH???? LOL but honestly that was one hell of an indepth description. I was just wondering if I missed something on my chart that would say GO SHORT since I didnt think that would come until 236 was broken.

Wow..so many choices. Thanks for the input.DO you think it is going to do the xyz thing or the wave 123? I think I will leave the mkt for the day..lol

i'm very new in forex trading i tried trading on GBP/USD, BUT I KEEP LOSING 25PIPS PER DAY.

Almost forgot we had a diamond breakout, with a good thrust downwards, also a proper retracement 237.10 to the diamond formation outer line, now we need to fall before the end of this 4hour candle, rather sure of this fact, but if didn't take a short arond 237, do not short without a breakout, hope this helps

it's 23:00 GMT+1 (and +1 summertime)
should be the pivot point adjusted to change now?
new pivot should be 236.84 until london open in 10 hours

i am studing the 15M auslanco startegy thread ,but there is some .doc files of this startegy in this thread for download that differ from base. I want the last and approved one of it.someone help plz.

i trust you, but should I wait for 236 to break to go short since I am not in anything at all right now. That was my gut feeling and want to know what yours is.

I know the works of Gann well and use some of those techniques daily. But would be remiss not to take issue with your comment on his financial state at death. Much like his trading, his fortune or lack of is shrouded in mystery. There is no definitive evidence to the millions he made in the markets nor that he died penniless. But, in fairness to the original poster and the spirit of this thread, I will cease to comment any more here on the matter. Folks should do their own research to formulate an educated opinion as to such.
