I thought this indicator repaints also from reading posts at TSD.
I prefer to exit from TP, SL or unbroken support and resistance.

Its his trailing stop. He set it too close and is being hit early.

Is that being fixed? also, can a new EA be done also with the other QQEA options modifiable in the EA?

it's not a bug because your minprofit is set to 0 that trailing stop is activated as soon as the trade is opened. You need to increase minprofit eg

MinProfit=50
TrailingStop=15

So in the above scenario the trade needs profit by 50 pips before the trailing stop of 15 is executed.

I think glenn and skyline are working on the QQEA version.

Ok, so how does it work then? If I set a MinProfit=15 and TrailingStop=15, as soon as price gets to +15 pips SL moves to +15? What if MP=15 and TS=0?

If you set MinProfit=15 and TrailingStop=15 once price reaches + 15 pips your 15 pip Trailing stop will be activated and your stop will follow the price 15 pips behind.

What if MP=15 and TS=0? Trailing stop would not be activated.

Trades today: one long trade which I got stopped out, forgot to set SL higher, it was just 30, price hit over 100 pips after that. One shorttrade with 2 TP first at +20 and second at +50 which was moved SL after price hit +90. Lesson today: take a close look at your managetp settings before let it run by itself But now to bed, early waking.

very funny...I was using Laguere on 15 min TF...I buy only when coming from a solid bottom though 15 and sell when get the signal comming from a strong ceiling though 75...

I have supernova EA V1.3 (GLENN) running on demo account eur/jpy on 5 min.
chart.Lot of falls signals past 2 days.
I don't have mq4 file so if the creator could make some changes we could get better results.I think that adding condition for entering the trade DMI+ should be over DMI- and DMI + should be grater than 20 (make it variable) for long and for short DMI- >DMI + and DMI- > 20.

Hallo heavy Drinker!

So far the tests with all EAs on timeframes lower than 30M were ... not nice! On lower TF the manual trades, as performed by awesome Awesome are by far superior.
The EAs all perform fine on lopnger timeframe as 1H - 4H!

I have found that when a new day starts it is best to close MT4 and reopen it again in order for the pivot lines to be where they should. Otherwise, they get all jammed up together - don't know if this is unique to me or if others have that happen too but just thought I would mention it.

OK I have a request for either the thread owner or someone who has all the good bad and the ugly experience here.

Is it possible to either update either the first post giving all details concerning everything about the manual entries TF's and pairs. As well as consolidated information about the EA's for this method?

It is a daunting task to say the least for anyone to come to this thread brand new and attempt to go back and forth between the early information and the most current developments and have a full understanding of what is going on.

Also I have been finding going back and visually inspecting multiple pairs on the 4H and Daily TF that using the 3 indicators MOM, DMI, QQEA gives very nice entry heads up.

Using this signaling method coombined with using stop orders for entry really looks promising. Has anyone else considered this or currently doing this?

Hello Trader V,

I am new here as well, but I have found that all the indicators are regularly updated on the first page of the thread. You are right - it is a daunting task to go through the whole thread but I think it is time well spent. What I did was start from the beginning and read the entire thread. Took me 2 days.

While I was doing that I had a clipboard and some notebook paper and would write down categories and then put the post and page number of relevant items under the categories so I could go back and reference things as needed. I don't know if that helps or not, but I found it of use.

Overall, I would have to say that Cryten et al have been pretty smooth in updating the first post.

Hey everyone- Can someone clue me in on this QQEA? I read this thread all the time and people are now talking about QQEA and I failed to see the "introductory" post about it. What does it do? Based on the name I'm assuming it's an automatic stop based on QQE crossover? Can someone direct me to a post that explains it in detail? Thanks
