Nothing likely to get hit unless Asia goes on a huge yen buying spree. Feeling tired so will call it a day - I think it's been around a 300 pip day.

jus began reading the thread from the beginning...ur journey over the year has been an inpiration and all the best in the future..was just wondering if the daily sytem u started the thread with was still being used at all? it seemed to be doing good...although not as good as ur scalping lol...anyway would u still say it's succesful? cheers

I think I'm too greedy to ever be a scalper..I look at the GJ chart and all I can think is: Why take 10? 20? Ther's literally hundreds waiting...or for a scalp at least 30-80 on a good round trip from a sound kickoff...

I don't think I could do it

One of my last few problems though, really.

The method I used for the first 6 months or so was a little crude but with a little modification proved fairly successful. When a pair trended it was very profitable - when it got stuck in choppy consolidation was the issue.

I'm enjoying the scalping at the moment but what I have learned on the daily charts has proved invaluable.

LOL, I do know where you're coming from and often it is the 10 & 20 pip trades that make up the bulk of the trades. However, I will leave positions open on occasion if I'm pretty confident I can grab more.

Bottom line though is that they add up and now over 2200 pips this month (see below) and over 4500 pips in the last 4 weeks scalping.

Think how many stellar three or four hundred pip trades that equates to.

OK, two positions just opened & closed on GBPJPY...

short 236.31 closed 236.01 (+30)
short 236.19 closed 236.09 (+10)

October pips +2230

No of successive profitable trades 284

You seem to be scalping well !!! But somewhere in the past I remember you saying that sitting in front of the screen all day was not the goal... ( or was I the one saying that ?? !! )

I don't want to be a full time trader... but I do want the full time income from trading... !!! Scalping does not really fit into that thinking...

Of coarse, if you are scalping while taking a hot bath as you already said... well that actually sounds good... just make sure you are sipping champagne too and the candles are lit and the rose sent flowing... and A lady in the tuib with you... !!!
