and the 5sma on the 4 hour chart is only about 20 pips higher than current level. Barring a complete reversal, I think it is safe to short right now.

I think time answered this question for you. But I will say that 40 pips is usually a pretty good score for the Asian session. If I have 30 - 50 pips bagged and price stalls out, I tend to cash in. Exceptions would be good solid 30min strategy and 4H/1H trades where I aim for 2 or 3 times that, and which might drag into London session to complete.

Ok, keep an eye on the daily QQE by the end of today, we might get a cross downwards and after that this pair should be going to hell, I mean markam's 210 lol

it's really hard to master this beastt.
Early asian shoot 150 pips down, it still could reverse during london session. I put a tight SL right now.

I'm not too sure about entering any short positions whilst this pin bar is forming, looking at recent dips in the uptrend on the 4hr charts, this has often signalled the end of the dip and the next candle is big, long and all white - boo! Just something to consider..........

i guess i have to keep telling you all: the uptrend is NOT OVER yet. the daily fib from the last big fall has not closed properly, it is between 0.618 and 0.786. for this reason, i think that this move down is just a retracement and it should end at around 235.91. after that, we'll see another rally, probably to 244.28 and only then we can think again about another big fall.
something else: daily qqe has not crossed down yet. it's not safe to consider shorts, unless they are short term.

who said it was crossed down? nobody so just relax buddy, and i don't think we're going to see any down movement until we get a decent retrace up first

When the daily qqe crossed down and the tft flipped in july, we dropped 400 pips the next day, and over a 1000 in the next 5 days.

yea, I am keeping an eye on it.

I had to close my short before I lost too much. should I go with this up or wait until it slows down and starts to fall again. What do you guys think?

I'm bearish even though the major trend of the pair is up etc.., I think the majority are bearish and been expecting a big drop from weeks/months.

I don't care what the major trend is, I just trade intra-day moves and collect my pips, long/short or sideways, as long as I bag green pips, I'm good.
