Thanks to HerbertH for his ea modifs.

I'm very happy to report that the reverse 5 min tests (blue dot = sell, pink dot = buy) are very bad (otherwise ). However, they are NOT AS BAD as the ones with the right settings. My conclusion is that for some reason the system is not suited (yet?) for the very small time frames.

I'm signing off now, as I have a trillion things to do and it's already AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 19h EST sunday night ARGHHE!?! oh my god........... and I'm half dead (my eyes anyway, well, brain included)

I know there was no coffee today and I have no means to apologize!

But eversince tomorrow I will have all the time in the world and will not fail in service again - for a long time... at least a week! Yessssss! <or no?>

In fact the reactiontime seems to be too slow to really let the EA scalp on a 8-10pip spread. And I am not too sad about it. The other results already border on insanity!

Well, guess what? I got promoted today . Better status, better conditions, better $$$, they love me, appreciate me (etc). EXCEPT, that's not the direction I'm headed, I'm headed for <running out the back door> .

OK, yeah, I am happy about this outcome (which I kinda saw coming) however, should I pip myself up to current salary in the next few months, boy, it'll be even more difficult to "extricate" myself from there, them being so "nice" with me and all.

Anyway, we'll see. I'm weird this way --> I almost think I'd be happier if da boss had told me I was on tempo leave for a couple months instead.

I printed the ea codes today, will be studying them attentively. CHOW for now,

Well thank you H (check your email hehehheheheh (you'll understand my laugh).

DId I test gbpjpy on 1H no filter = of course, the only thing I didn't test is the size of my socks heheh (check past posts, I have posted all my tests/results). I checked 11pairs, 8 months and 3 (bad) months, on 7 different TFs, with and without filters (dot to dot), checked for stop loss for each pair/TF from 10 to 600 (I think) and Trailings (same thing) and TP (same thing) and different DMI and different (from 1 to 200 I think) MOM for each and every pair, also taking only longs, only shorts checking for relative drawdowns for each.

And I did this whole thing more than once hehehhe because in the beginning I didn't have good modelling quality.

And I know I will redo it with your improved ea coding and redo it and redo it until we have a superest system (and gnmat the brat is also mega testing and cryten the bat is also brainwashing himself heheh brainstorming I mean) so they will also contribute to making this SO BAD, with your super coding, that OMG we'll have to have a MEGA PIP PARTY !!!!!!!!!!

Hello Qpip!

I've something new you to check out. Please read my post from mainthread http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...postcount=1712 for the screenshot and http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...postcount=1741 for the indicator. Those results in screenshot was only after 30 second quick test so those values aren't the best. Hope we can find optimal ones for each tf and pair.

Another BUSY office day, but monitoring my bots and they're doing their pipy danse and I'm happy with the (positive) results so far.

Since monday, I'm running Herbert's ea, btw.

Finn: when I get a sec, I'll check out your posts, thanks for the links.

Also, I read in the SN thread that MT build 210 doesn't "do" backtesting correctly. Not my experience. Tests were super ok on my side, maybe it was the ea version I was using, don't know but everything was fine at my end.

I hate this time zone thing. Couldn't we find a solution? Like move the sun a bit to the east, or morph and reshape the earth's geology, simple things like that or maybe put up a second sun, there's an idea. Or you guys (since I'm the queen decide to ADAPT and live on MY time zone ::

Nice idea there... Unfortunately even if I moved to my sister, we still would not be in the same timezone. Guess Calgary is again 2 hours away or so. And it is pretty nice here. No earthquakes, no wild animals, storms - but bearable, no volcanos whatsoever, no tectonic tensions zone within thousands of kilometers (many milrs), mild climate and at least on my island: White Beaches - blue sea!

...... maybe if we put a nuclear bond (typo but I'm leaving it heheh) BOMB inside the earth's core, then a lot of mini moon-suns will explode from this and regulate the atmosphere to even out time zones. There we go! I knew I'd find a solution.

Of course there's the little mini unimportant trivial almost inexistant issue of the fact that in the process we'd all, hmm, die..... hmm.... yeah I'll work on that part a bit more.
