I recently subscribed to Vegas' Website for one month. However that was well over a week ago!!! I paid via e-gold and sent several emails to the administrator, and I have neither had my account activated, nor recieved an email response. I am a concered that I have been dooped out of my $50, has anyone else had this problem, or no a solution??

i am sorry i dont have a solution, but if you can publish the website address here, then perhaps no one else will suffer.

and if i can just add, one simple rule, you cannot make a fast buck on the forex, its not a get rich quick scheme, and anyone who promises you riches, quickly and easly, and charges you for it, is not making money from the forex, they are making money from you.

the people, the genuine people on forexfactory will give you all the advice and guidence for free, because they enjoy it, and do not need your $50 or would they disgrace themselves by asking.

in fact one news trader here called moe, will tell you how he trades the news, and he has been doing so for ages, and hes spot on 99% of the time, he gives this for free. burgerking also gives free advice, very well written and informative, along with 1000 other people here, for free.

smjones, and all the other analysts here are all great.

please give full details of the scammers, and it will save others, any questions please ask in the appropriate forums

I have had experience with Vegas' website and can tell you that they are terribly inefficient. It took me about 2 months after I signed up to get confirmation. This websitre frequently has technical problems for one reason or another--there is always some reason.

I know that this is not a very satisfactory answer but I would advise you to be patient because you experience is not unusual and probably not indicative of having been duped.

lol. just trying to make light of this post. it sucks that there are scammers out there. n sorry to those of you who got robbed.

there certainly is a wealth of knowledge for free in this forum. and like the others have said, its for free! everyone's very helpful and responsive to your questions. most of the info you need is right here wouldn't hurt to pick up a book or 2 either. theres no magic formula. all you need is a half-decent trading method, great money management rules, and discipline.

oh. and some starting money would help too lol.

No you haen't been duped. Vegas is one of the long standing (founder!) members of this Forum, as I understand it. He has given a lot of input into this site and helped many on their way. Do a search for his user name and see how many posts he's put up.

His core trading methods have resulted in several spin-off methods (the Knife in the Private Forum for one) and all his methods are posted on this site. There are several threads discussing the various methods and, if you prefer to, you can trade the methods without paying for the signals and advice posted on his site. The difference is that there is, for some of us, a certain amount of discretion involved in trading methods, and this is why sometimes he won't trade just on the signal. His depth of knowledge goes back a long way and it's this extra dimension that makes the subscription worthwhile.

He'll be the first to admit that the site hasn't functioned as well as he'd like, but the one thing he isn't is a scammer. There is a lot of trading experience waiting to be given to you, so keep pestering him about your access.

Many of you are fairly new to the site, and have therefore missed all his early input; so please don't start 'calling the kettle black' without getting yourself a little more knowledge of the guy and making a proper value judgement.

I subscribed a few months ago. Had no problems at all, and signals are being sent out, this is not a con.
The results are not as great as I had hoped but I subscribed early in my forex education. I now realise that there are so many different ways to play the market, this method is just one of them, so with that in mind I'm not disapointed. Sometimes a system is 'hot, sometimes 'it's not'.
I don't have the time to continually monitor the market to apply all the different entry techniques and different timeframes, so I leave the 'Vegas method' to the expert, get the signal & then see if I agree with it.

I do think though, the next signal service I'll be looking into will be my own!!! LOL, watch this space!

Not only do I believe that it is just an oversite with your subscription (that I belive will be fixed so no worries there). My comment has to do with why you are subscribing along with the other gentleman that replied to you post with a psot of his own that went something like he is not getting his signals either. I only say this because I think you and this other guy are trying to get a signal service and although you will get your monies worth. I just want to add that if you are in fact a NEWBIE, I want to say you are lucky enough to have stumbled on to something very valuable. [the ability to learn something worth learning VWB. you should learn and study like you have never ever studied before. EVERYTHING YOU CAN ABOUT VWB. please don't think i am telling you that yolu have stumbled on to the holy grail. (no such thing unless you refer to my wonderful fiancee' belinda) however nsaying that since you are new study and learn. ps you also need to read trading in the zone by mark douglas. then if you are extremly lucky you may one day catch me in a good mood and post one of my methods

sometimes i get signals..sometimes i dont. but at this point i dont care, because the system isnt as great as the story behind the system. yes all that dramatic writing in the documents is what hypes you up.

i wrote this before, but the fib #s make you think its all magical at first..but this system is nothing more than a bollinger bounce type of top and bottom picking system. in fact, the vegas wealth builder can be written into an EA and manually backtested. you will see that the results are not that great. some people might say you cant backtest and need intuition. sorry, inuition = bias, which equals what you THINK the market is going to do. besides, the vegas system is described as a completely mechanical system.

like i said, sometimes i get signals..then i dont for a while. but how hard is it? come on now, the "fully functional" website is nothing more than a mailing list. vegas would have had an easier time using googlegroups or something.

he might not be scamming you, his site might just be messed up and he cant keep up with every thing. to me this is the same thing, if you promise something and you dont deliver it then you are trying to rob some one or you are accidentally robbing some one. Either way you are robbing them. I work in IT and if i told my clients i would get it done eventially after they paid me I would not be in business.

on the other hand, you paid with egold, which is the craziest thing ever, so all you can do is wait, there is no way to get your money back or to complain. egold = scam. legit companies dont use it. if you had the ability to get your money back he would be much more likey to fufill his side of the bargin.

I have to agree there - the egold process stopped me from going forward with signing up - I was interested in learning more from an educational point of view the monthly cost wasn't much to try it for one month.

Then, I was also really ticked to see a link from Vegas site to a site that I found extremely offensive and could only assume Vegas condoned the point of view expoused on that site, so ultimately I voted with my dollars.....

I don't think you were intentionally duped, but the technical difficulties between egold and Vegas probably got in the way.

I always wondered about people that sold their methods. I know vegas has been endlessly contributing freely to these forums, yet how else would he be able to market his product without doing so? Like someone said, If you are making money at forex, you do not need to make $50 off of anyones subscription. If these people have the proven track record that some of these people claim they have, they would have no problem raising real money for their fund and wouldn't be worried about accumulating $50 at a time from people that don't know what they are doing. Just my opinion, nothing against vegas, i found his free stuff sometimes informative and entertaining. Anyway, nothing wrong with making money this way, I just dont think that if you were trading profitably, you would have the time to efficiently run this kind of business - Oh wait, you all say that the site is miserable, enefficient, etc - maybee he really is making money.

I've had exactly the same problem. I paid over two weeks ago now, and although I have emailed them several times. I've never had a reply as yet. I think my money is well and truly lost.

if u trade cfds i can advise u http://members.vectorvest.com/newstockanalysis/ its trully OK!,...and its free of charge,...so far they were right for 50 stocks i have checked with them....but for forex

Saying that successful traders would not charge people to learn hot to trade is a little stupid.

If you make $20k a week from trading and you open a live trade call room get 200 clients at $200 per month each thats an extra $40k per month with very little expenses on your part.

Successful traders charge because they are smart, why not make an extra $40k a month? Most people struggle to pull in $40k per year. Putting $40k per month in the bank for a year with compound interest will turn into $500,000. If you say a successful business man would turn his back at the possibility of earning an extra $500,000 a year you have no idea about business.

That is really one of the stupidest argument I have ever heard 'oh if he is successful why would he charge people!'.

MAYBE! the guy want to retire by the age of 25 so he opens a call room pay someone to give calls and sells some other stuff so he can drag $500k a year without the stress of trading. At 25 he can sit on a yacht whole his successful and honest Forex business is making money for both him and his subscribers.

This guy is probably a scam but writing all call rooms of as scam is stupid. Especially with an argument like 'well if he was successful he wouldn't be running a call room'.

Sell a Forex Newsletter for $80 a month 2000 subscribers = $160,000 per month

$160,000 x 12 = $1'920,000 per year

Why would a succesful trader bother making an extra $2million a year without risking $1 and doing hardly any work.

- that wasn't the argument. The argument was that if he is such a great trader, he doesn't need to rip people off for $50.00. Obviously he is not living up to his side of the deal and so I'm sure his trading musn't be doing all that well. Do you think if he was making people and himself money that his call service business would be so inefficient. There musn't be enough resources to run it properly, and if there are, then he really is just a bad businessman. - Where are all of the expenses oh knowledgeable one. Cash flow statement? Balance sheet? How realistic to get 2000 subscribers, especially if run poorly. How many people will sue you for their poor trading?
