When I get off of work I will visit Qpip thread and set my E.A. I most certainly will be asking questions as I'm not to advance with the E.A. I thank you for all that you do and your passion to help each and everyone on this thread. Your ideal sounds great!

I just realized that all hints I gave you yesterday were based on the asumption that you were using MT4. Sorry for that! No EAs will run on the VT!

Sorry for the mixup! But then the manual way is still open and Awesome has a good hand there!

Yes that indicator is for the MT4 and can be found here: http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...4&postcount=25

As for the Vtrader I use the Daily Pivot Indicator and you can just add that to yuor chart. Keep in mind that you can download a free MT4 chart and use the indicators to help with trading decisions. Happy trading and God Bless!

Entry is not our biggest problem, although it may sometimes take place one candle earlier, but exit on long TF needs some tweaking.

First of all - Congratulations to all the pips!!

About the JMA-indi;
If you do the entry based on the QQE, you will often find that an indication of change in the direction often appears earlier in the JMA than the next cross of QQE. I´m just saying that this could be a way to "fine-tune" the QQE.
Re- exit of trades: The CCI (14) is also very good with the +100 / -100 levels.
Note! The JMA does repaint, but only on the ongoing candle! So that is no problem, since you wait for the candle to finish.

Can it be usefull?

Thanks, I have MT demo too.
In VT there are Daily Pivots Fibonacci Ratios and only daily Pivots. Is there a big difference? Which one you are useing?

I am sure it can be useful, Mash!

The CCI is already in the focus here, as you know, as Glenn (winsteadglen) is using it in Sky's versions of the EA. And if this indicator will only repaint on one candle, it will still be faster than most of our other exit ideas. I will surely have a look at it and let you know!
Thanks for the gratulation - I wish I had the robots on solid big lots though! I am palnning to start real lotsize trading in the second half of this month.

Guys...please see the attachments...I brought this up before but now I caught it "on tape"...
I had (still have)the EA turned on with the setting: allow live...enter on QQE only...it closed an order at the end of the candle (then somehow I closed the chart by mistake...but I did re open it just a few seconds later...and a new order for sell was not made...I bet it will be made at the END of this candle! Why not in the beginning? In the end of the hour I will see...but here is what is happening right now...

P.S....with the prior long entry (0.2 lots) I exit it in 3 rounds...I left 0.01 for the robot to close...I was afraid that if I close the whole order ( I saw the move goes south) I may "confuse" the robo :-) so I left "him" a little to close and to keep him on track :-) ...He did close that remaining on time...just did not re open short...

P.S. I did a little test with this EA...and on test every one buy and sell is taken in time...what happens live?...really strange...do I do anything wrong?



I will come back at the end of the candle...

Well…I did not have the patience to wait for the 1H candle to close….so I went to the 30 min chart…and the short order was made there ( since there the candle closed some time ago…) then I switched to the 1H chart….for the Robo to close when time will come…

BUT THIS IS NOT THE ANSWER to my problem J I want to sleep during the night and let the Robo do “his thing” J without my assistance J

I wonder...if I have any extra indicators on the chart....the EA should not be affected, correct?!...as long as the QQE is on...and correct...

Also I wonder if I have another chart opened with the same currency...it will not affect the chart with the EA attached ?!...correct?...(I like to have another chart on so I can switch between the TF...to see the big picture etc....I know I should not need that if I trust and plan to let the EA do "it's" thing...but I just still try to laern...figure it out etc....just curious nature )

This is quite nice! I sometimes force the EA to take trades by switching timeframes also. But you are right, there is no real joy connected to it.

This is a really smart way to take the best of profit and leave the rest to not get robo-mate upset!

Taking off the platform really seems to bring up all kinds of problems, but maybe the EA will learn in a future stage to search for trades that are still open or were already closed belonging to the last signal.

Thanks for the little demonstration here! Future versions will hopefully get the flaws out ... although forced entry on a lower TF is not too bad!

Brandt-Gans!

This may actually cause interference. I am using multiple platforms on the same computer and on the same account to work around that possible problem.
Think about the beginning, when we used the managetpv34.ex4! This positively interfered with our trades that were managed by the Supernova EA on another chart. So signals from one template-carrying chart may easily jump over to the EA. I am not a programmer - may Sky could tell us - but MT4 has many little crosscombinations going on. That is why sometimes a freah chart is the solution if you get stuck somehow.

It closes in time...just re opens in the oposite direction at the end of the candle instead at the beggining ( at the end of the candle with the signal on and the BEGGINING of the new candle..after the candle with the signal JUST closed)...

whould not both the close of the old and the open of a new order happened at the same time? after the candle with the signal closed and at the BEGGINING of a NEW candle?


P.S. I'm going crazy here looking at the price going down and the EA waiting for the candle to close...I'm ready to switch to the lower TF for the order to be placed. :-) ..that what I will do if I was live :-) ....but I will wait till at the end of candle/hour just to proof that the EA is late :-)

I guess we will have to contact Skyline for this. He maybe misunderstood your insertion last time. To open an order at the closing of one or the opening of the other candle was not really the problem here: It was the candle as such. We/you would want it one candle earlier!

<Just saw the watermark of the EA. Maybe the 1.2 version of the Glenn EA is behaving differently? I will try to find out on my end also!>
