Hi Folks !

Attached you find the actual 5min chart.
- CCI Trendline was broken to the upside
- LWMA 600 line was broken to the upside

The night from Monday to Tuesday GMT we spoke on teamspeak
with rojam, traderbill, njfx and all the other guys how we should
construct the new channel for the day.

Most of us agreed with rojams suggestion to start drawing the 1h
channel from 0:00 GMT at 12/13 to the present because a valid
downtrend had established since then.

What we now can see is a break of this channel to the upside
so we maybe are in a short upmove channel.

We have to watch it.

To Master Roshan : Thank you for your clue about parallel trend line on July 2006 and October 2006. It is happening now that monday formed black candle as it tried to test lowest channel and tuesday...it is now forming white candle, as shown on your chart on post #1087 at page 73 !!!!! Even more, It is breaking the upper channel of Daily LRC when I wrote this!!! I never analyze that chart as You did, never know that "right under my nose", there will be a theory of "history repeating itself" on that chart you posted.

What a great lesson you gave since 16/12/2006 'til today !!!!

Remember I told you guys that the big boys are not that creative? They have to follow the previous history of candles hence the phrase, "HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF".

Hi Folks, hi Orange !

Orange its amazing how the big boys repeat themselves over and over
again
I have really to take the time to have a closer look...
Unfortunately I have a full daytime job and have to be patient....
So I concentrate more on the actual situation and this is LRC channel
and CCI trendline breakout.
I've attached the actual 1h chart of GBP.
You can see, that the channel we drew last night was broken to the
upside.
I expected that because CCI was and is still heading up.
So my experience is to trust the CCI more than the channel.
You have to watch carefully the bounces at the top and bottom of
the channel in conjunction with the CCI !!!

LOL, no appologies neccesary, the template is very simple and basicaly there to get the tools on the chart, that is all. I regularly tell the LRC to draw on say only the 1 m chart after it is set up for me on the time frame i'm interested on.

One thing i will state that is helping out on channels staying put for me is dedicating a single chart per time frame. So in a typical MT4 "Profile" i might have four charts for a currency up (5m, 15m, 60m, Daily) instead of changing the TF i just call up the individual TF i want to study. This way the channel stays put and does not get bumped out of line when changing between TFs.

When i'm in trades i will only have the FC channel up that aligns with my LRC homework before i hide the LRC on a different TF so i can recall it to move it as per the rules.

Hi Team,

Apart from the history repeating itself, Ive always emphasise that the DAILY CHART is the main trend.

Yesterday's candle was clearly touching the Bottom channel. Based on the 2 informations, it is no mystery why today's candles is bullish.

There are no mistakes, only a learning process!!

Hi Folks !

What Orange said is VERY VERY IMPORTANT !!

I've attached the daily and hourly chart and you can clearly see,
that on the 1h chart we have had a bounce and price was heading
from Q4 to the upper quadrants !!

- So watch the move of the candles on the daily !
- If a bounce occurs to the upper or lower channel line
flip to the hourly => the microscope !!
- Execute your trade on the hourly or lower time frame by
taking care to the CCI !!

What else to say here => ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !!!

Look were the price is !!

By the way if you look at the candle at 6:00 GMT and then
flip down to the 15min or 5min chart you clearly can see that
the price only could go up up and away

It is not always clear where you start your channel from. I started mine from Nov 27 and pull the channel to monday Dec 18 my lower candles never touch the bottom channel. Now if I start the channel on Nov 27 and pull it to Dec 14 the lower candle just about touches the bottom of the channel. My question is how do we know from what point to what point to make the channel? On monthly, it is to be the begining of the month, but now it can be back to mid November. On hourly, from monday to current day. Not sure what the rules are.

Dear all,

Just wondering. At daily candlestick, it already touch the upper channel. It is a good decission to short? CCI still pointing bullish. Should we wait for tomorrow cs to confirm the trend? My prediction is to short the GU but there will be a PPI new tonight (I'm in GMT 8). Would it be better to wait after the news?
