Markam was saying DOW would reach a new high for a few days/weeks. I was only thinking a double top but he was obviously right. Anyway, I think Wednesday (+-1) could be a big day.

But I have to agree and I have mentioned this many times - just go with the flow (and don't worry about the news). My charts tell me more than any news report could

The most important reports I look out for are fixes, they're great to take advantage of. I would say 80% of the time, fix information is pretty accurate. Either it happens, or it doesn't.

Option strikes also occur at an amazingly accurate rate. I remember there was this option strike on some pair (dated for a NY open) and the price was 150 pips away. As soon as it started getting close to ny open.. price went nuts.. went down all the way - 150 pips.. hit that option strike and went back up lol. I was just watching and shaking my head.

I'm not confident of my current trades, because overall I am extremely bearish on GBP/JPY. I still believe there should be more correction, but then looking at what the markets want - I am compelled to take opposite trades.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I noticed that today with the DOW .. I bet markam was confused too lol.

I wasn't confused. I knew as soon as the feds cut .5%, we were going to set a new record. I just thought it would be last week.

I am confused about what happens next. My thought a couple of weeks ago was that we would go from new record to 25% correction down almost immediately. Now I wouldn't be surprised to see the dow go to 15-16,000 before it crashes. Crash it will though.

Is it safe? Hasn't the country dried up yet?

Seriously though, I will be there in 3 years time for 2 years, then back to the UK. Not sure it's a good idea yet but we'll see.

Yep! No soft landing this time! I wouldn't be surpised if we are forming a head as part of a head and shoulders formation on the daily.

well safe?--compared to Uk--hell yeah!--we havent had any "bombings" here yet mate--lol (not jinxin anythin)

our dollars gettin stronger too

our weather--lets say is 90% better then Uk

ull love it for sure

ps--ive spent 5 yrs in UK myself--

it owuld be nice to have u here--let me know when u ever come down under

she has three days to move from 235 to 237.50 today is the third day if she fails to make it today then back to 235 she seems bullish 237.50 seems likely

I'm not a big fan of the heat... especially heat waves... I actually like the weather here.... the summers are the best I have had.... doesn't get too hot or cold and the days last forever. I don't even mind the winter cold but there tends be be a lack of light during that time (which is the worst part).

Anyway, it's late here so off to bed.
