Started the week fresh with new setup. Currently in 3 trades.

1st pic = autobots
2nd pic = humanbots

Now, I want my Bread&ButterBots to work on shorter time frames. So I had a look at my results for 1H, 30m and 15m. The 2 USD pairs had to be eliminted (eurusd, gbpusd) as well as chfjpy, which leaves me with 6 jpy pairs. Their best performances are all on the 1H and all except usdjpy have filters on. I haven’t yet tested for SL or anything else, since this is short term 40 pips/day then zap the bots into oblivion.

I would like, however, to have some sort of “diversification” as the jpys pretty much all move in the same direction. I’ll be looking to see how I can integrate the 2 usds (or other pairs) to make the B&BB’s complete.

As you have probably read on the thread the system trades after the
cross of QQE once filters agree which is fine for shorter timeframes.
1. Is it possible to select by each filter if you want the ea to wait
for it's signal.

eg. EA trades of cross by default and if you want to add the filter
signals as per the sysem instead of just "filters on" or filters off"
can we have options Like "DMI on", Mom Off", "Mom on" etc etc So all
filters in the system we have choice of setting to on or off. QQE
is not a filter so the ea should trade off cross of QQE smoothing
one as per default and we can choose if we want the additional filters or not.

2. No Stop and reverse
I don't want stop and reverse perse. Each trade long or short must
be treated as individual. If there is a buy signal the EA should
open the trade and apply take profit and stop loss and trailing stop
as per the inputs, if a sell signal comes after the ea should open
the sell and treat this as an independent trade and apply the input
paramenters for the SL,TP etc. The trades should only be closed
if SL, TS or TP is reached. Even if this means some trades would
be hedged because of this.

3.The ea needs a way to safely add and remove from the chart.
If I add the ea to the chart and there is a sell signal from
yesterday or 4 hours ago the ea must not trade it. The ea should
only look for new trades once it is attached. Is there a way to
manually close position and ea will not interfere?

4. Optional time filter as per system eg can input times ea can
trade but if we want ea to trade 4 hourly or daily etc then no
timefilter is needed.

Now notice I took out stop and reverse. This is because many really good trades
would be closed for opposite signals and thus maybe this is where the extra
drawdown is coming from. I also arranged to have the managetp ea integrated
so even small gain "losing trades" that only go 30 or 60 pips may still come out top.

Interesting. Not sure about the stop & reverse tho. I'll need to observe the bots for a week to really get a feel for its behaviour.

I asked him to take away stop and reverse and let each trade run and close on their own conditions (TP, SL etc) I think pure stop and reverse kills too many good trades.

You are completely right about the longer timeframes when it comes to stop and reverse. But I guess there is no need to take it away for the short term approach that we still have to research thoroughly after mastering the long term.

Maybe a "stop and Reverse" switch with simple "true" or "false" would do the job? As it is built in ... no need to kill it now as we may need it later on.

The time lag prodiced by the "stop and reverse" is really pushing my bloodpressure when I look at the visual testing "thriller" (instead of dudd TV).

What do you think of that old gnat eater... with your pink tiny something??

Well... terrible headache... house full of family ... young (loud) and old (deaf & therefor loud) and ... less time than I wished I would have.
But later on I will send them all off or to bed and then I have my head free - or bursting!
Did you see the redicoulos bat that Master Cryten entertains in his members protrait. Look for "pink objects"... and he wants to eat me!! Or ... something even worse if you look at the creatur!

The trades would still reverse with the new signal but instead of a good trade being closed it could reach it's full potential.

I just sent him loads of additions and such, so for stop and reverse function I'll wait a little bit, on the next development I asked him to make the EA independant of the indicators so that the indicators are "built in" I may ask him to include stop and reverse with that development.

Actually, could you explain what stop-and-reverse actually does? I think I misinterpreted what it does (thought it was simply "once you're in a trade, if you get a reverse signal, stop (close trade) and reverse (take trade in next direction)".

yes thats right, if you get reverse signal the ea closes your current trade regardless. If no stop and reverse you still take reverse signal but current trade is not closed for the hell of it but only if SL, TP, TS is hit. In effect you could be in a hedged trade until one or both are closed by SL,TP or TS.

This will keep us in those long rallies that otherwise gets closed due to a little retracement that causes reverse signal..
