I dont want to get into the habit of interfering with my open trades after I place them. Specially not with the short term swing trades like 4hr/1hr strategy.

it's good news for GBP. it's all about the deviation. Not much difference from the expectations.

With the ups and downs from Asia to Frank and now London, there is ample opportunities to profit a few fun pips.

A scalpers delight indeed, I am finished for the day at 55 pips scalped on the EJ mainly, a small scalp with GJ was the thrill of it all.

I will now remain out and will re-evaluate the NY news times prior to any new trades.

Right now the GU and UJ are both moving down, that is the force of the GJ pushing down here for now, once UJ catches support and returns upwards, the GJ should join it.

For now, if the hourly candlestick close below 235.76 level (daily r-1), i would consider a short trade.

possible retracement to 4hr 5sma 235.50(as monarch also mentioned earlier)

We broke the 235.50 barrier and reached a new high of 236.47, news for GBP was moderately calm, so your correct, we should find some ranging here while we wait for the upcoming ISM manufacturing news from the US.

I would think the 236.01 R-1 should be our median with 235.50 support now, and 236.47 as our resistance.

This could also be a scalpers delight, too bad I am tired now and have too sleep. LOL

You take care of all these traders who are looking for this great breakout in the next few hours.

NOTE: With all this analysis on the GJ I should start trading it also along with the EJ, just too sporadic for my scalping fingers.

If I recall correct, you've a 1 pip = 1K account? If you do as Aus does you'd be getting over 100K profit (at least one 15 Min strat of 120 pips on gbp/jpy).

Aus I've got recorded 236.47 on bid, kinda sucks to have a pip miss. But it's better than over a pip in a stop loss and turn, but we'll get there

It is also the 23.6% fibo of the last bull-run from last week

38.2% is 234.90
50% is 234.40
