Closes either side of the 50; RSI ditto; Stochs - mid values.
Looks interesting to me is all. Market's flat so I aint gonna bother with this one. Just my opinion

I am amazed you are asking why he was banned. Did you not bother reading the rules of the forum when you joined? Obviously not, since you too are violating the rules by having the link to pipcity in your signature.

Effi got lucky. There was a time when he would have been banned permanently. I too like Effi, as he seems like a great person as well as a great trader, but rules are rules, and they are meant to be followed. I'm not without guilt, as I was reprimanded for breaking rule #1 on a couple of occasions. (I'm an asshole by nature ).

So please, do as Merlin asked and not make this thread into a "rules" debate.

Effi will be back in two weeks. In the meantime, please remove the link from your signature.

Sorry to hear about Effi having his wrist slapped with a 2 week ban. Rules are rules I suppose, and it does make sense to keep FF from turning into a self promotion fest a la The Rumpled One. (No offense to you Avery, everyone's gotta make a buck)

With regards to the 2550 style of trading, I've trade it for two days and locked in a nice amount of pips although my position size has been quite small. I usually risk 20-40 USD total per trade but I'm going to trade this with 5 total per trade. I just can't straight paper trade or I don't pay attention.

Regardless, I have 3 open trades all of which hit the initial profit target with an original SL of 1.5 ATR. Which has made me about 3R realized profit in 3 days with another 3-5 R paper profit I'm going to ride.

This has some nice potential for pips.

I fully understand what thread we are on and theory behind the 25-50 trade, ACKO! I just didn't see a trade forming in the U/J. I also see after a little thought you no longer see it either.

What time frame are u trading? There was actually a short on u/j on the 4 hour chart on friday.
I agree Jose, there was. What stopped me taking the trade was the higher time frame trend. i.e., flat

Al - I haven't found decent daily trades using this stategy for a week or so. I think it is much better on the H4 TF but that doesn't work with my work schedule.

Acko - I saw that trade signal on the G/J a couple of days ago but the stochastics were at or above the 76.4 level so I did not try it.

Had I taken the trade signal, I would have been up 165 pips right now.

I took the long signal on the 2550 system on the daily charts and am up around 120 pips currently.

I will try and keep you all posted on trades i enter until effi gets back with signals effi posts on the other forum he posts on

it sucks he is banned for a little while.....he just is helping every one make money!!!!! I have made lots of pips off of all his systems.

Again, I haven't been testing Effi's system on the GBP/JPY (don't know why, just too lazy to setup another, since I currently have a handful of MT4 programs open as is).

Anyways, for the people that are looking at the 2550 system on the GBP/JPY, is it showing a possible short on the pair within the next half day? My own methodolgy for that pair is showing a possible short entry, more than likely, within the next 4-8 hours. If anyone using the 2550 on that pair, please let me know what you are seeing too.

So we are in the same boat Tim.....we have a daily job to pay our bills...and we are trading forex to try to escape our daily job....but we cannot trade as much as we'd like because of our daily job.....so we cannot make enough money to leave our job.....so we are stuck with the dailies!!!!

Awwwwwww.... ironies of life!!!! Lets hope that someday we'll find a daily trade that will let us ride it for days....and when the ride is over...and our trailing stop is finally hot...we can retire to a life of leisure and absolute relaxation....
