Price is sitting nicely on the upper Navy trend line that goes back about 1 month. This is shown in the 5 min chart attached.

Looking at the same line on the 4hr, you can that it seems to be the neckline of a pattern resembling a reverse head and shoulders formation (of about 500 pips). This could indicate a return to the high 238.80 area (61.8 level of the big move).

Having said that, I'm remaining bullish for the moment.

Which one? On the daily? I suppose if there is an ascending right-angle triangle then it just adds weight to the bull position. Maybe you can point it out in a chart.

Charts shown are 4HR GUPPY (top) and 4 HR Yen (lower)

Just thought it an interesting correlation between TF's and TL's. Notice that the GUPPY broke the 4HR TL (and closed a candle). . . the YEN is sticking right at it (no close above yet.) Also, it does seem that the last two GUPPY cycles are trending a little higher (higher lows.)

Seems to be as the Yen goes, we go. Although, in the last few hours, the yen is bouncing against the TL (while we have penetrated)

That's what I'm thinking too. Might be bad timing. The bullish signals are there, and we could have upwards movement soon. But it might also be a trap for the unwary.

Think I'll wait until after the JPY fundie news, and see how things look then. We might see the start of some good downward movement.

Alright, I am still short from 234.10, SL at 235, TP at 232.30

I know I have 15 minutes until this 4hr closes but I don't see a run-up right now, we are most likely going to have a near perfect 4hr doji, mfi shows overbought and if it doesnt run up we will have a downward pointing momentum in 15 minutes. A 50% fibo retrace from this move up is about 232.10. This pair likes 50% retraces. We might not get there because of the monster support at 232.30, but thats what I trading on right now.

It would be nice to come home later tonight to a green box rather than a red in account summary page, but lets see. Cheers guys.

yup and it is right below my daily upper TL, once price breaks 50ema 15m, I will go short.
