Interesting...My indicators are predicting a break out to the upside on GBP/JPY.
But for the GU.. it the the opposite. However I believe a break of 233.75 to the upside or 229.50 to the downside could trigger a good sizable break out in the coming days.

233.75 is the weekly pivot Mid range Resistance which is also just above the 4hr 200EMA.
229.50 is weekly pivot support 1 . If the pair has enough steam to go through those levels that will clarify the actual breakout direction.





Now that this has come to fruition… how significant does the 4HR
200ema play into the mix? Does it become as major a support
level as it once was a major level of resistance?



It was @ 233.75 10 hours ago and now is currently @ 233.37?


And now Aus believes 234.80 is next stop

The 4H 50EMA is at 232.09 and was passed a long time ago. The chart you posted is a Daily chart and the Daily 50EMA is indeed around 234.20.

A price gap which reflects a highly emotional periods and can be classified either as breakaway gaps (price breaks out of a pattern or trading range), runaway gaps (continuation) and exhaustion gaps (maturity of trend and possibly its termination is close)

Its looking like Auslanco's TP will not be denied, I am curious about the let down when this thing deflates. Seems it is outrunning the dow which is barley up double digits.

123.6 fib for the day @ 234.5.

I show r1 @ 234.35. May give some resistance.

Price should go to 138.2 @ 234.67
